Dogs help victims retell their stories in courtrooms

Dogs truly have superpowers. It is incredibly difficult to go through a traumatic situation, but even harder to have to retell it in a courtroom -- in front of strangers. These specially trained courtroom dogs are trying to make that process a little easier for the victims. These dogs help reveal the truth. Courtroom dogs are specially trained to be able to remain incredibly calm in high-stress situations. The dogs are then allowed to be with the victims of traumatic situations while they are in court to help provide ease and comfort while retelling a difficult story. The goal? To make the process easier for victims so that the truth will be told. Keep doing amazing things and revealing the truth! A rescue dog adopted some abandoned ducklings because why not?

It's time to meet the rescued dog that adopted two abandoned ducklings! Meet Patty Cakes, Penguin and Popinjay. Patty Cakes is a rescued pup from Life of Pikelet. The two adorable ducklings were dropped off at the door of Wollongong Animal Rescue Network. Patty is just 6 months old but he has adopted the two little ducklings as his own. An Australian shepherd adopts cheetah cubs in Cincinnati Zoo

By now, I'm sure you all know that I'm a sucker for different species becoming friends. This story from the Cincinnati Zoo has a special spot in my heart and I promise it will make you smile. Meet Blakely and his cheetah cubs. A female cheetah gave birth to five cheetah cubs, but then passed away about two weeks after giving birth to the cubs. Blakely, the Australian shepherd, stepped right up to the plate to serve as their adoptive parent. Blakely now serves as a companion, but will serve as a teacher and a role model as the cheetah cubs grow. Blakely is skilled in helping raise animals — he has helped raise other animals who have lost their parents. Watch this adorable video to see Blakely and the cheetah cubs interact with each other.
