Supernatural Literary Detectives
Bungou Stray Dogs Chased out of the orphanage he was living in, Nakajima Atsushi is in the brink of death due to starvation. Despite this, he was still able to save a drowning man from a river. Apparently, the man he saved - Dazai Osamu - is a member of a special detective agency. Together with his partner, Kunikida Doppo, the two are on the run to hunt a man-eating tiger roaming around the area. Luckily for the detectives, it seems that the said tiger is somehow connected to the poor Atsushi. How will the case go? What is Atsushi's relation to the tiger? Will he and the detectives end up being tiger food? Read the manga to find out. (๑•᎑<๑) Bungou Stray Dogs (Literary Stray Dogs) is an ongoing manga by the author Asagiri Kafuka and artist Hirukawa35. It currently has eight volumes, having five volumes already scanlated. It's under the genre of seinen, supernatural and mystery among others. Being an avid reader, I got curious as to why they put in "literary" ("bungou" is translated as literary in the English title of the manga) on the title. It sounded kinda off for me in the beginning. I thought that the series will focus on lycanthropes or something like that. But I was really thrilled to know that it's not what it seems to be.
