The official website for the Code Geass: Akito the Exiled anime series have started streaming a promotional seven minute clip from the second instalment which saw a release on the same day in Japanese theaters on 14th October 2013.
Code Geass: Akito the Exiled is a side story to the main series which is set in the early summer of Revolution Year 228, which is around the time Lelouch starts to build his 'Black Knights' rebellion army under his Zero persona. This side series focuses on the invasion of Euro Universe by the 'Wyvern' Knightmare corps division of the Holy Britannian Empire.
The new series features a cast including Fumihiko Tachiki as Michael Augustus, Taketora as Godfroa do Villon, Hikaru Miyata as Raymond San Jiru, Takuma Terashima as Ashley Ashura, Mimiko Noto as Maria Shing, and Takahiro Sakurai as Suzuka Kururugi.
The series is directed by Kazuki Akane who also wrote the screenplay with Miya Asakawa. Takahiro Kimura is handling the animation, with Akira Yasuda designing the mechanical knightmares. Ichiko Hashimoto is working on the score for the anime series.
