Ingredients: 500 g of fat (or margarine), 250 g of powdered sugar, 1 whole lemon, vanilla sugar, 100 grams of ground walnuts, about 1 kg of flour, jam of your choice.
Preparation: Mix the fat (or margarine) with powdered sugar. Grate the lemon and squeeze the whole lemon into the pastry. Add vanilla sugar and ground walnuts. Gradually add flour and knead a smooth dough. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5 mm. Cut it with a small glass or a baking mold and arrange vanilice in a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake vanilice for 10 minutes in the oven at a temperature of 150 degrees C until they become rosy. Take the tray out from the oven, let vanilice cool a bit, merge 2 by 2 with jam and roll them in powder sugar mixed with vanilla sugar.
