Getting to Know Me!!!!

@B1A4BYS5EVER tagged me, so thank you for that! My name is Angelina Schnettler. I'm called Angelini because an old friend's baby brother said Angelini instead of Angelina, and we added "Amazing" because it sounds like a magician that way. My favorite Kpop group....I have no idea. There are too many. BigBang was the first Kpop group I was introduced to and I'm going to see them on Sunday so yea. Where I live now is the hipster city of San Francisco. However, I grew up on Long Island, New York ("TOO FAR FROM THE CITY, TOO FAR FROM THE HAMPTONS"). I want to be a photographer soooo badly and I am currently a photography major at San Francisco Art Institute where I am learning how to use film cameras (my camera is older than me!).

I Bought my First Onesie!!

Hello again, Vinglers! it's been about a week since my last card but now I cam share another exciting moment with you! My top bestie from college, and I both work around the same area - I work in the mall of Japantown, and she works at this kawaii as f**k store called Maruq. They sell everything from Rilakkuma (which I love), to stuff GD would wear, to lolita. While waiting for my homie to get off of work, I just hung out at her store when I saw the Rilakkuma I've been wanting for a while now and plan on wearing it on Halloween. It was pricy, but it was the same price as online but without the shipping so I totally bought it! Of course I bought a shirt and rilakkuma notebooks, but I am so happy! These are the pictures from my friend's phone. The second one was on her snapchat so I took a screenshot. The first one, I had her send it to me and it's my profile picture for basically everything now (and my crush liked it on Facebook ♡) Anywho, I got it! And I swear it is the most comfortable thing you could ever wear! They are expensive, but buying the original kigurumi over some rip off is worth it. If you ever want a Rilakkuma Kigurumi without paying for shipping, the only Maruq I know is the one where my friend works. It's on Post St, Japantown, Sam Francisco, across from the mall in a building that says "New People." Last but not least, I was accidentally Maruq's model for the day! I tried on the Kigurumi there, and my friend pulled out the store's camera, and took a bunch of pictures of me! I mean, I didn't look as good as BTS, but I think it was cute enough. The pictures with me should be on their Instagram soon! Not sure when, or the name of it, but I will find out for you! But really, I love my onesie!

I GOT THE JOB

Hey, everyone! So, last week I mentioned here on Vingle that I had a job interview in Japantown and as a little 75% white, 25% Japanese girl, I was super nervous. Well, to my surprise, I got the job! It may have to do with the fact that I am taller than the people working there at the time of the interview (I'm 5'5). But, I got the job! Woohoo! Noe I can buy more photography equipment because priorities of a photography major-duh. Anywho, thanks to those who wished me luck! I'd tag you, but the Internet is being a butt so I will get on that ASAP. BONUS!!! At the Japantown West Mall, there is a PikuPiku, so here are my two friends and myself. I am insecure so I won't point out who I am, but this is the first picture of myself on Vingle. Another woohoo!

First Job Interview!!

Hello! So, most of you reading this probably won't care, but this is a big deal for me! I am going to an interview later this week to work at a little souvenir shop that sells Japanese and Korean stuff in Japantown. Some of you are probably like, "I really don't care." But this is my first job interview. On top of that, I am white. I am 25% Japanese, but I look white. My last name is German and I met the manager when asking about the job so she knows I am not Japanese (looking), so this is a big deal for me. So please wish me luck, guys! I am super nervous but I can only hope for the best! Thank you, my dearest! ♡

Accidentally a Sasaeng?!?!

So after reading what @kpopandkimchi wrote about sasaengs, little ol'paranoid me now thinks I may accidentally have become a sasaeng. I have reasons why I think I am and why I think I am not, so please reassure me that I am not one or how to not be one. Thank you! Why I may be one: I want to be a photographer. Recently, I have been thinking about how awesome it would be if I could get to be the photographer of one of their concerts. Or I am the photographer of one of their photoshoots. I mean, how cool would that be? Me, just a fan who happens to be a photographer, gets to take photos of these idols!

Korean Idols Drawings
