Donut Hole Snowmen
Donuts are my guilty pleasure, but winter is exceptional! This is too cute.
8 wooden skewers or caramel apple sticks
16 powdered donut holes
8 miniature York Peppermint Patties
8 miniature Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
3-4 lengths Fruit by the Foot
Prepared white frosting
Mini chocolate chips
1 box orange Tic Tacs
1. Carefully stick the pointy end of a wooden skewer through 2 donut holes, a peppermint patty and a peanut butter cup, making sure the stick does not come through the top of the peanut butter cup.
2. Using kitchen shears or clean scissors, cut 8 strips of Fruit by the Foot, about 8 inches long by 1/2 inch wide. Cut fringes at the ends of each strip to make a scarf. Carefully peel the fruit strips from the paper backing and tie a strip around the "neck" of each snowman.
3. Use a skewer or sucker stick to poke 3 holes in the top donut hole, one for the nose and two for the eyes. Place a small dab of frosting in each hole.
4. Push a Tic Tac into the center hole to make a nose, and place two mini chocolate chips in the remaining holes to make eyes.
