What I'm Watching?
It's that time again! To update everyone on what I'm currently watching. So, right now I'm watching 6 dramas. I was only watching 5 until I started another one this morning.. Sungkyunkwan Scandal PLOT: Set during an era when society does not allow females to be educated nor employed, Kim Yoon-hee (Park Min-young) disguises herself as her brother, Kim Yoon-shik, in order to make ends meet for her family. She goes through a series of odd jobs, mainly at a local bookstore, before she gets offered a chance to increase her earnings by becoming a substitute test-taker (an illegal act) for the upcoming entrance examination in the prestigious Sungkyunkwan, the Joseon Dynasty's highest educational institute. She gets caught by the upright Lee Sun-joon (Park Yoo-chun), who later acknowledges Yoon-hee's talents, and even encourages her to enroll in the university. There, she must bear with the endless mischief of upperclassman Gu Yong-ha (Song Joong-ki), put up with the constant mood swings of roommate Moon Jae-shin (Yoo Ah-in), avoid getting in trouble with the strict student body president Ha In-soo (Jun Tae-soo), keep her secret from being discovered, all the while trying to hold her growing feelings for Lee Sun-joon at bay. Voice PLOT: Moo Jin-hyuk (Jang Hyuk) is a “mad dog” detective who becomes guilt-ridden after his wife was murdered 3 years ago while he was at work. Kang Kwon-joo (Lee Ha-na) is a tough policewoman who is gifted with perfect psycho-acoustics skills. She was working at the call center when a brutal murder case takes place and in the process of investigating, her father was killed. Together, Jin-hyuk and Kwon-joo team up as the "Golden Time team" and solve cases together, chasing after serial killers who took their loved ones. Modern Farmer PLOT: Members of rock band Excellent Souls (ExSo) decide to give up their life in Seoul and move to a small town in the countryside to farm the land that Lee Min-ki's grandmother left to him upon her death. When Min-ki gets there, he learns that the village leader is his first love, Kang Yoon-hee. Introverted Boss PLOT: The personal growth of introverted Hwan-ki (Yeon Woo-jin) as he slowly takes steps to come out of his shell, and his romance with his extroverted employee, Ro-woon (Park Hye-soo). Strong Woman Do Bong Soon PLOT: Do Bong-soon (Park Bo-young) is a young woman born with superhuman strength, who breaks everything she touches if she's not careful. However, she desperately wants to become a willowy and elegant woman, which is the ideal type of her crush In Guk-doo (Ji Soo). Thanks to her strength, she gets the job of a bodyguard, to a spoiled rich heir Ahn Min-hyuk (Park Hyung-sik), the CEO of a gaming company (Ainsoft). Opposite of Guk-doo, Min-hyuk is a crazy and odd man who is imperious and has no regard for rules. One day, Bong-soon, Guk-doo and Min-hyuk get caught up in a serial murder case that breaks in their neighborhood, and end up reluctantly living together for security purposes. A series of misunderstanding occur when Guk-doo mistakes Min-hyuk's affection. Miss In Kiss PLOT: After an earthquake destroyed Xiang Qin's house, she and her father moved in with the family of her father's college buddy, Uncle Ah Li. To her surprise, the kind and amicable aunt and uncle are the parents of her cold and distant schoolmate Jiang Zhi Shu, a genius with an IQ of 200 whom not too long ago rejected her endless crush on him. Will the close proximity give her a second chance to win Zhi Shu's heart? Or, will her love for him end under his cold words? What happens when there is competition for his heart? So those are all the dramas I'm currently watching. I'll be done with both Voice and Introverted Boss this upcoming week since there are only two more episodes left to air. I'm enjoying both but I love Introverted Boss more. I just started Miss In Kiss this morning and I'm enjoying it. I wanted to watch it because I've seen 5 other versions of the storyline including the anime. I thought why not watch another version. Modern Farmer is really funny so far, I'm only 3 episodes in. I'm halfway through Sungkyunkwan Scandal, it's starting to get interesting now. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon is my favorite drama that I'm currently watching. It's so funny and cute. I can't wait for more episodes to come out! That's all for now! GOBLIN PLOT (Source: Wiki) Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) is an immortal goblin and protector of souls. He lives with an amnesiac grim reaper (Lee Dong-wook) who is in charge of taking deceased souls. Together, they see the dead off into the afterlife. One day Kim Shin meets a girl, Ji Eun-tak (Kim Go-eun), who has a special ability to see ghosts, and is destined to be his bride and return him to ashes. QUEEN IN HYUN'S MAN PLOT (Source: Wiki) Year 1694, Joseon Dynasty: Kim Bung-do (Ji Hyun-woo) is a noble-born scholar and his family's sole survivor after they were massacred in a conspiracy. Kim Bung-do supports the reinstatement of Queen In-hyun, who was deposed due to scheming by royal concubine Lady Jang. Year 2012, modern-day Seoul: Choi Hee-jin (Yoo In-na), an unsuccessful actress, lands her big break when she is cast as Queen In-hyun in the television drama "New Jang Heebin". Due to a mysterious talisman, Kim Bung-do time travels to 2012, where he crosses paths with Choi Hee-jin and falls in love. THE GIRL WHO SEES SMELLS PLOT (Source: DramaWiki) Three years ago, Choi Moo Gak (Park Yoo-chun) lost his younger sister in the "Bar Code" murder case. Since then he has become cold and insensible. Meanwhile, Oh Cho Rim (Shin Se-kyung) miraculously survived the same incident. Since then she has lost her memory, but also gained the ability to see smells. I have a lot of favorites but I highly recommend these! What's your favorite supernatural kdrama? TOP 10: Romance K-Dramas!
This week's theme in the kdrama community is romance. So I'll be giving you some of my favorite romance Kdramas. ENJOY! 10. Love Rain PLOT (Source: DramaWiki) "Love Rain" depicts a 1970's pure love and a love from the present day at the same time. It shows how the children of a previous ill-fated couple, who met in the 1970s, managed to meet and fall in love. Seo In Ha (Jang Geun-suk) and Kim Yoon Hee (Im Yoon-ah), an art student and a shy beauty, met and fell in love with each other during college in the 1970s but unfortunately their love was fated to never be. Now in the present 21st century Korea, Seo In Ha's son, Seo Joon (Jang Geun-suk) (a liberal photographer) meets and falls in with the daughter of Kim Yoon Hee, Jung Ha Na, (Im Yoon-ah) a cheerful and energetic girl who's personality is different from her mother's. Will their love for each other keep them together or will they have to face the same fate as their parents? Thoughts? Love Rain is a great rom-com. The main couple had good chemistry. Now be warned, the first 3-4 episodes are slow paced because they tell the backstory of the parents relationship but after that it gets really good and adorable. It's a really sweet drama! 9. It's Okay, That's Love PLOT (Source: DramaWiki) Jang Jae Yul (Jo In Sung) is a mystery writer and radio DJ. He suffers from a obsession. He then meets a psychiatrist named Ji Hae Soo. Ji Hae Soo (Gong Hyo Jin) is going through her first year fellowship in psychiatry at a University Hospital. She chose psychiatry because she doesn't want to perform surgeries. After she meets Jang Jae Yul, her life goes through big changes. They end up becoming home-mates and things turn romantic. Thoughts? This was a highly entertaining drama and thrilling. Amazing chemistry that got a lot of recognition. The storyline is great and made me cry a few times. This is a great drama that I really recommend. 8. Healer PLOT (Source: Wiki) A decades-old incident involving a group of friends who ran an illegal broadcasting station brings together three different people—an illegal mercenary with the codename "Healer" (Ji Chang-wook) who happens to possess top-notch fighting skills, a reporter from a second-rate tabloid news website (Park Min-young), and a famous journalist at a major broadcast station (Yoo Ji-tae). In trying to uncover the truth from that 1992 incident, they grow into real, honest reporters, while dealing with the conflict between truth and fate. Thoughts? Healer is my 2nd favorite drama of all time. Amazing chemistry!!! Great storyline, great cast, great romance and funny. The soundtrack is beautiful and it kept me entertained! Plus Chang Wook stole my heart because of this drama. 7. Flower Boy Ramen Shop PLOT (Source: DramaWiki) Yang Eun Bi (Lee Chung-ah) is a college student preparing for her civil service exam with the dream of being a high school teacher. She accidentally encounters Cha Chi Soo (Jung Il-woo), the arrogant son of the biggest food conglomerate in Korea. Both of them end up working at a ramyun shop run by the lazy Choi Kang Hyuk (Lee Ki-woo). Thoughts? I love this drama mostly because of the main leads. They are so cute and this is the drama that made me fall in love with Il-woo. He's so hot! It's a cute rom-com! 6. Another Oh Hae Young PLOT (Source: MyDramaList) There are two women named Oh Hae Yeong, who were classmates in high school, getting all mixed up in each other’s lives because they share the same name. The problem is that they not only share the name, but they also have the same occupation, which is probably the bigger issue. They both come to work for the same large catering company, but one is a team leader while the other is simply an assistant manager. Then there’s also a man in their lives, who has the ability to see into the future... Thoughts? This drama was really entertaining. Amazing chemistry, fun cast, good plot line and really cute. 5. Pinocchio PLOT (Source: MyDramaList) The idealistic Choi In Ha (Park Shin-hye) has her work cut out for her when she becomes a broadcast journalist, especially when she suffers from a condition known as “Pinocchio syndrome,” which makes her break out into hiccups whenever she tells a lie. Her rookie colleagues include Choi Dal Po (Lee Jong Suk), whose shabby appearance masks his true eloquence and sharp memory; Seo Bum Jo (Kim Young Kwang), a wealthy heir who has had everything handed to him in life; and Yoon Yoo Rae (Lee Yu Bi), whose fangirl knowledge comes in handy in covering the news. The 20-something newbie reporters pursue justice as they try to discover themselves in the process. Thoughts? Well Pinocchio is my favorite drama of all time and for many reasons. I love the main couple so much, they are one of my favorite otp's. Great chemistry, funny, emotional, interesting plot and the romance! If you haven't seen Pinocchio I fully recommend you give it a try! 4. Fated to Love You PLOT (Source: Wiki) After each of them separately drinks a love potion, everything changes. Lee Gun (Jang Hyuk) is the successor to a large company run by his family. Kim Mi Young (Jang Nara) is an average-looking secretary in a law firm who earned the nickname “Post-It” for her inability to say no to her colleagues who dump work on her. When the two cross paths one night after separately having drunk a love potion, a comedy of errors occurs. Kim Mi Young goes into the wrong hotel room because the hotel door number accidentally changes, and the door is propped open by the mischief-making love potion makers. She ends up sleeping with Lee Gun. When Mi Young finds out afterwards that she is pregnant, what will become of them? And will Kang Se Ra (Wang Ji-won) and Daniel (Choi Jin Hyuk) just stand by and let Gun and Mi Young deal with the situation in their own way? “Fated to Love You (Korean Version)” is a 2014 South Korean drama series that is a remake of the popular 2008 Taiwanese drama by the same title. Thoughts? This was the very successful remake that I love so much! It's my 4th favorite drama. It's cute, funny and will also make you bawl your eyes out like crazy. But it's a beautiful drama about a baby bringing 2 strangers together and they fall in love. Plus this drama has the best kdrama ending I've seen! 3. My Unfortunate Boyfriend PLOT (Source: Wiki) A love story between Yoon Tae Woon (No Min-woo) who believes in living truthfully, and Yoo Ji Na (Yang Jin-sung) who will do whatever it takes to succeed at her corporate job, including lying when necessary. They end up changing each other while finding love. Thoughts? So adorable, Tae-woon is my favorite kdrama character of all time. He's so cute, innocent and sweet! This is an adorable rom-com that I adore that not many people talk about. 2. Coffee Prince PLOT (Source: DramaWiki) The life of Go Eun Chan (Yoon Eun-hye) is not easy; she works many jobs to pay off debts and even gave up her feminine image. Choi Han Kyul (Gong Yoo) is the heir of a big food company, but his grandmother wants him to settle down, so she arranged many dates for him. After Eun Chan bumped into Han Kyul and was mistaken for a boy, Han Kyul decided to hire Eun Chan to be his gay lover in order to avoid the arranged dates. Desperately in need of money, Eun Chan had no choice but to accept. Han Kyul's grandmother also made Han Kyul in charge of a filthy coffee shop in danger of being bankrupt. Eun Chan begged to work at the coffee shop, and not long after, feelings start to spark, except, how would Han Kyul accept his "homosexuality"? Thoughts? Every drama fan has at least heard of this classic, if not I don't know where you have been. But Coffee Prince is a gender bender rom-com classic. It's funny, cute and the chemistry is one of the best I've ever seen! If you haven't seen it then you need to add it to your list. 1. Marriage Not Dating PLOT (Source: Wiki) Wealthy plastic surgeon Gong Gi-tae (Yeon Woo-jin) has no interest in getting married; marriage is all shop girl Joo Jang-mi (Han Groo) dreams about. In an effort to get his parents off his back about the constant string of blind dates and marriage prospects, Gi-tae purposely brings Jang-mi home to meet his parents posing as his girlfriend, certain that they'll never approve of her. This romantic comedy portrays a man who doesn’t want to get married, and a woman who has no luck with potential marriage prospects. Thoughts? This is by far my favorite romance drama hands down! Such amazing chemistry, fun storyline, great cast, it's hilarious and cute. I love this drama to bits, it also has one of my all time ost's and the ending is perfect for this couple! I highly recommend it to everyone. Not many people talk about this drama which saddens me because I love it so much and need to watch it again soon. Other Recommendations: - Queen In Hyun's Man - Oh My Ghost - Shopping King Louie - She Was Pretty - Secret Garden - Mary Stayed Out All Night - Jealousy Incarnate What are your favorite romance dramas? TOP 15: 2016 K-Dramas!
Sorry for making this card so late but better late than never. This new update is screwing me up. Please fix it Vingle so I can make cards on my laptop again.. Anyway here is my Top 15 list of 2016 Kdramas! 15. Moonlight Drawn by Clouds PLOT (Source: MyDramaList) Hong Ra On (Kim Yoo Jung) disguises herself as a man and counsels men on dating. Due to a love letter she wrote for a client, she meets Crown Prince Hyo Myeong (Park Bo Gum). Ra On is unaware that he is the Crown Prince and Hyo Myeong is unaware that Ra On is a woman. The Crown Prince becomes interested in Ra On. His eunuchs become aware of this and attempt to get Ra On to become one of them. Thoughts? It was really cute at times but sometimes it also made me cry. It was a good historical gender bender that I recommend to everyone even if you don't like historical dramas because I'm not a fan of them myself but this one was pretty good. I completely fell in love with the Crown Prince's bodyguard/sidekick. He's so hot!!! 14. Something About 1% PLOT (Source: Wiki) wiki Lee Jae-in (Ha Seok-jin), a ruthless son from a wealthy family starts seeing an elementary school teacher, Kim Da-hyun (Jeon So-min) whom he has never seen before, on a six-month contract engagement, so that he could inherit the asset as written on his grandfather’s will. 'One Percent of Anything' is a romance drama depicting what happens to the pair during the fake engagement. Thoughts? An extremely sweet rom-com. So much chemistry and it's so adorable. The kiss scenes were also amazing. Storyline wasn't anything special but a cute drama for those rom-com lovers like me. 13. Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim PLOT (Source: Wiki) Story about Boo Yong-joo (Han Suk-kyu) a genius and triple-board certified surgeon, who was once at the top of his field and used to work at Seoul’s top hospital, Geodae. After a traumatic incident, he disappears and changes his name to Kim Sa-bu to work at a small hospital named Doldam, which is located at Gangwon Province. He guides Kang Dong-joo (Yoo Yeon-seok) and Yoon Seo-jeong (Seo Hyun-jin) to become great doctors there, teaches them to fight against power and money for the sake of patients. Thoughts? This medical drama had not only intense kiss scenes but intense operations as well. This drama was really entertaining and got me anxious multiple times. Great cast! 12. One More Happy Ending PLOT (Source: Dramawiki) Four best friends, close since their former idol days, are dealing with relationships now that they have entered their thirties. One divorcee, one single nearly without dating experience, one of the verge of marriage, and another on the verge of divorce. Will they succeed in finding love and happiness? Han Mi Mo (Jang Na Ra) is a divorced ex-idol and now a successful co-owner of a matchmaking company Brave Wedding, which specializes in joining couples that have been divorced and are looking for a new love. Song Soo Hyuk (Jung Kyung Ho) is a single dad who works for a gossip magazine Masspunch and two of them meet by chance when he's tailing a celebrity. As these childhood friends collide on professional and personal levels, they will find a true match. Thoughts? This drama showed the struggles of adulthood, relationships and family. It was a really good drama that wasn't talked about much in 2016 but I really loved it. Plus Na Ra and Kyung Ho were so cute together in this. They made my heart flutter. This is a rom-com and I definitely recommend it! 11. Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo PLOT (Source: Wiki) During a total solar eclipse, a 25-year-old 21st century woman, Go Ha-jin (Lee Ji-eun), is transported back in time to Goryeo Dynasty. She wakes up in the year 941, in the body of Hae Soo and there, she encounters the many royal princes of the ruling Wang family. She initially falls in love with the gentle and warm 8th Prince Wang Wook (Kang Ha-neul), and later Wang So (Lee Joon-gi), the fearsome 4th Prince who hides his face behind a mask and is given the derogatory label "wolf dog". Meanwhile, rivalry and politics ensue among the princes, in a fight for the throne, as Hae Soo finds herself unwittingly caught between it all. Thoughts? This drama was so intense and heartwrenching all at the same time. Scarlet Heart turned me and many other viewers into emotional wrecks. It was a great drama but at the same time it killed me. I love the main couple so much and Wang So is bae but this drama needs a 2nd season for me to be satisfied. I cried until the very last scene. 10. Another Miss Oh PLOT (Source: MyDramaList) There are two women named Oh Hae Yeong, who were classmates in high school, getting all mixed up in each other’s lives because they share the same name. The problem is that they not only share the name, but they also have the same occupation, which is probably the bigger issue. They both come to work for the same large catering company, but one is a team leader while the other is simply an assistant manager. Then there’s also a man in their lives, who has the ability to see into the future... Thoughts? This drama is the definition of a well presented rom-com. It was so well done and the chemistry was well seen by the fans. The kisses were AMAZING!!! The plotline was interesting. 9. Beautiful Gong Shim PLOT (Source: DramaWiki) Gong Shim (Bang Min Ah) was born as a 2nd daughter to a family that always prioritizes their 1st daughter Gong Mi (Seo Hyo Rim), due to her being a successful and beautiful lawyer. As a result, Gong Shim grows into a prickly and skeptical woman with inferiority complex. One day she meets Dan Tae (Nam Goong Min), a quirky public defender with mysterious past. Dan Tae rents a rooftop apartment which formerly belonged to Gong Shim. Thoughts? This was such an adorable drama! I ship these two so hard. They had good chemistry and the storyline was entertaining. Not only was it cute but also really funny thanks to Goong Min's character who is so stinking cute. 8. Bring It On Ghost PLOT (Source: MyDramaList) A cohabitation comedy about a ghost of a high school girl (Kim So-Hyun) who has been dead for 5 years and an exorcist college boy (Ok TaecYeon)with the ability to see and hear ghosts. What he’s discovered over the years is that he can touch them and fight them off, so when he’s in need of a part-time job and can’t find one that pays well enough, he starts putting ads online as an exorcist for hire. His ad: “Will face off with your ghosts. Chances of winning: virgin ghosts 80%, bachelor ghosts 40%, child ghosts 97%, the rest 50%.” One night he goes out on the job and faces off with a schoolgirl ghost, and during the fight, they accidentally kiss and sparks fly. Thoughts? The ghosts in this ghost drama are the scariest I've seen in any ghost drama. They were horrifying! But I loved it. Also Taecyeon and So-hyun had great chemistry together. They were so cute. The storyline reminded me of Oh My Ghost. This was a really cute drama overall and I would definitely watch again! 7. Cinderella and Four Knights PLOT (Source: Wiki) Eun Ha-won (Park So-dam) is a high school student who dreams to be a teacher, but she needs money for her education. So, One day, she meets the Chairman of the Kang Group who offers her the chance to live in his house if she accomplishes the mission of reuniting his three grandsons, under some conditions, such as she cannot date anyone among them. At the Sky House, she meets Kang Ji-woon (Jung Il-woo), a soft hearted but lonely and wild-child rebel, Kang Hyun-min (Ahn Jae-hyun), a playboy plutocrat who does whatever he wants, Kang Seo-woo (Lee Jung-shin), a top singer-songwriter who is gentle and kind to Ha-won, and finally Lee Yoon-sung (Choi Min), the Chairman's secretary and their bodyguard. Thoughts? Definitely one of the cutest dramas I've ever seen! I kept squealing whenever the main couple did anything cute when they were together like their first kiss. It is so adorable!!! >_< Great cast besides the end female lead. I know it's not the actresses fault mainly but her characters fault because she's supposed to be annoying. I just really love the soundtrack, the main couple and the storyline. 6. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo PLOT (Source: DramaWiki) A story of love and dreams between three young potential athletes: weightlifter Kim Book Joo, (Lee Sung Kyung) swimmer Jung Joon Hyung (Nam Joo Hyuk), rhythmic-gymnast Song Shi Ho (Kyung Soo Jin), and the nutritionist Jung Jae Yi (Lee Jae Yoon), Joon Hyung's older brother. Thoughts? I don't know how I didnt get diabetes because of this drama. I swear it was so sweet, I thought I was gonna die from sugar overload XD It was so cute and made me smile so much but also made me cry whenever the female and male lead cried. They kept giving me their pain. But this was a great drama and Joo Hyuk and Sung Kyung have great chemistry! 5. Jealousy Incarnate PLOT (Source: Wiki) Weather caster Pyo Na-ri (Gong Hyo-jin) and news anchor Lee Hwa-shin (Jo Jung-suk) are long-time colleagues at SBC broadcasting station. Na-ri has had a crush on Hwa-shin three years ago but things change when she meets the perfect man Go Jung-won (Go Kyung-pyo), a chaebol heir and close friend of Hwa-shin. Meanwhile, Sung-sook (Lee Mi-sook) and Ja-young (Park Ji-young), who are rivals in both love and career, gets entangled with Kim Rak (Lee Sung-jae), a restaurant owner and landlord of the building where Nari lives. Thoughts? I praise Jung Suk for starters. He made it so believBle as if he was actually dealing with Breast Cancer. I felt so bad for his character and fell quickly in love with him. Unlike most who got 2nd lead syndrome, I still fell for the main lead as usual. Plus Jung Suk is hotter than Kyung-pyo in my opinion. When he gave Hyo-jin's character a pep talk, my heart was racing. For a 24 episode drama which I thought would drag, it didn't disappoint me but instead kept me entertained and I loved it! It was a beautiful drama and such amazing chemistry!!! The kisses were great as well. 4. Shopping King Louie PLOT (Source: Wiki) A romantic comedy about Louis (Seo In-guk), a rich heir who always spends money to buy everything that has a subtle beauty talking to his soul. One day he loses his memory and meets Bok-Shil (Nam Ji-hyun), a pure and energetic woman from the countryside. She is at first astounded by his spending habits. In the process of teaching him to only buy bare necessities or inexpensive small kindnesses that lighten up one's day, she also learns that bare necessities are not same for everyone as they depend on everyone's own values that shape their life and thus their shopping patterns. Both have innate innocence which bring them to care for each other, leading to undeniable love. Thoughts? I absolutely love this drama! It was super cute, super funny and fun plot. I love how adorable the main couple was and I have to say this is definitely my favorite role Seo In-guk played. He was so bubbly and lovable. Such a sweet drama and good chemistry between the main couple. 3. W - Two Worlds PLOT (Source: Wiki) Cardiothoracic surgeon Oh Yeon-joo's (Han Hyo-joo) father mysteriously went missing while writing the last chapter of his webtoon "W". Yeon-joo goes to his office and is shocked to see a scene of the dying Kang Cheol (Lee Jong-suk), the main character of W, on her father's computer. While reading a note left behind by her father, a hand from the monitor pulled her in and she finds herself on the rooftop of a building next to a bleeding man. She manages to save him and realizes that the person she saved was Kang Cheol. Yeon-joo later discovers that she can only leave the webtoon based on Kang Cheol's change in feelings. When that happens, the words 'to be continued' will appear and she will teleport back to the real world. Thoughts? I really enjoyed "W". It has such a unique and different story line. The cast is amazing. I love Jong Suk, so I really liked this drama a lot. His character in this was really different from his other characters. Great chemistry. This drama was thrilling, intense and a amazing. 2. Descendants of the Sun PLOT (Source: MyDramaList) Yoo Shi Jin (Song Joong Ki); the captain of the Korean army special force, meets Dr. Kang Mo Yeon (Song Hye Kyo) when he and his comrade, Dae Yeong (Jin Goo), injured a thief. Shi Jin and Mo Yeon begin to date, but due to their jobs, their dates don't go well and they break up. Shi Jin then takes an order to lead his soldiers on a peacekeeping mission to the fictional war zone country of Urk. Eight months later, Mo Yeon rebuffs the sexual advances of hospital chairman Suk Won and as retribution is assigned to lead a medical team in Urk. There, Shi Jin and Mo Yeon meet again. Thoughts? Here we go, let's be real of course DOTS made it to my list. I really loved this drama and the storyline, the cast, the soundtrack and the chemistry. Although the chemistry wasn't the best I've ever seen. I know a lot of people felt a lot of chemistry but I thought they had just "good" chemistry not amazing. What I really loved about DOTS was the acting. The acting was spot on and amazing, the storyline was just great and the soundtrack was outstanding! 1. Thoughts? OK so before Goblin came out, DOTS would have won for 1st place but Goblin came in and took that spot. Goblin is now my 3rd favorite drama of all time. It ranks that high for me. I love it so much! First off, I absolutely love the storyline. It's really unique and fun. This drama has the best cast I've ever seen. The whole cast have so much chemistry together, like they were meant to act together. The 2 main couples as well as the bromance couple have a lot of chemistry! Strong bromance and romance! This drama tore my heart apart then pieced it back together. It was a masterpiece. The cinematography and the soundtrack are both beautiful. I love almost all of the songs on the soundtrack as opposed to the DOTS soundtrack. I like a few songs from that soundtrack but not even close to all. I fall for dramas with great Osts. I admit it! The acting was so amazing and the plotline had a good pace. This was a funny, sad, beautiful, cute and amazing drama that I believe every drama lover should at least try watching because it's amazing! XD Sorry for such a long card, it's hard to make a short card when you have to include pictures.. I wonder how many of you actually read this whole card.
