Situations in which I have met other K Poppers
So I live in a place where a decent number of sane beings know and love K Pop. Inevitably, I bump into these people all the time. Just gods way of telling you that liking K Pop is the right path. These are just two really surprising ways I met 2 K Pop fans. Btw both of them were Indian... like me... but just to let you know, I don't live in India. SCENARIO 1 So I'm sitting on the floor at a place and everyone is barefoot or wearing socks. A girl walks by me, and she's wearing socks that say SHINee on them. I have a sudden realization that her socks say SHINee as in SHINee the group! So I look up at her and say, ''WAIT. YOU LIKE SHINee?'' She looks at me and nods but asks, ''...um...How did you know?'' I point to her socks and she laughs,
''Oh yeah! Forgot I put those on!'' She was cool but wasn't exactly so friendly. The next scenario though has a girl that is literally like my bestie rn. SCENARIO 2 So I'm at a store and I'm walking around drawing attention to myself and what not. All of a sudden, I see a girl my age and I'm just like please don't notice meh because she might be from my school. Then I saw the back of her jacket. It only has one letter on the back - V. At first because the jacket looked sports fan-y I started thinking to myself, what sports player has the last name V? But then it occurred to me rhat that may have been Taehyung, V. To know for sure, I decided that I would have to search for the BTS logo. Determined to find a fellow K Pop fan, I acted as of I wasn't doing anything, and spied on her until I could find a BTS logo on her jacket. SUCCESS!!! People probably thought I was really weird because I literally had like a spaz attack and almost knocked over a few key chains! So I go up to her and say, ''Rap Monster for life!!!''
She be like, ''Oh I like V! Nice to see another fan!!''
And a friendship sprung.
