Korean Alphabet Series: ㅁ
[Regularly, the Korean Alphabet is organized in 한글, or hangul. But in this case, I'm going through them by the order on the keyboard. Also, if I make a mistake, don't be afraid to comment! Before you 'report' this card: don't worry--I know the alphabet series isn't K-Pop related but it'll soon be. I'm still going over the alphabet :)]
Hi, and welcome back to my Korean Alphabet Series! We're getting into the second row of the keyboard... yes, ㅁ.
Surprisingly, it's "m".
You're probably thinking, "what is that box?". And yes, I agree, it DOES look like a box. But it doesn't have a sound that contains any letter from the word "box", so I guess you kind of have to memorize this as well (but don't worry! It's not that hard now you know that it's a box).
Examples! 미안해 (mi-ah-ne) is a light way of saying sorry.
멈추다 (mom-chu-da) is a polite way of saying stop (maybe after hajima?)
며느리 (myo-nu-ri) means daughter-in-law...you might've heard it in the drama, "Mask".
Next card coming soon! Additionally: What do you guys think of the TTS comeback, "Dear Santa"?
I LOVED it. And I LOVED the fact that they did both Korean AND English!!! What do YOU think?
