Paper Hearts: Pt. 2 (Jungkook)
It was funny how things worked out in life. You had imagined this very scene for the past year, replaying it over and over in your mind until you could point out the most minor details in your sleep, yet why did it play out so differently in reality? Everything that could have gone wrong, did go wrong. As unsettling as it was to consider… maybe you didn’t know who your best friend really was. “…what?” was all he could utter to break the deafening silence. Jungkook narrowed his eyes at you with his brows furrowed as he took a few hesitant, long strides towards you. “I…” you said as you took in a deep breath and sighed out your next words with the little courage you could muster up, “…wrote those letters.” You didn’t dare to look up into his eyes, because frankly, you were already depleted of any form of determination. Your lips were quivering so much you had to grit your teeth in an attempt to prevent them from chattering, your hands were trembling as your muscles spasmed to thaw the wave of coldness that had dawned upon you, and your knees threatened to collapse underneath you at any moment. With your eyes glued to the ground, you didn’t notice that Jungkook had made his way towards you until you spotted his Timberland boots only a few feet away from you. Before your knees could give up on you, your hand instinctively pressed up against the cool surface of the wall to your right. “You’re joking, right?” he spoke lowly with disbelief. It was impossible not to feel the pang against your chest after hearing those words. Were your feelings a joke to him? All those hours you had spent carefully writing messages that came from your heart came down to this? To be taken as a joke? You drew your fingers towards your palm to form a fist, your nails clawing the dry surface of the wall and sending chills down your spine. The ache in your chest worsened by second, especially from his thoughtless words, regardless of how intentional they were. Whereas the heat in your cheeks grew as you could feel his gaze piercing your eyes that failed to meet his. “You wish it was a joke, huh?” you somehow managed to mutter under your breath. You chuckled to yourself in an attempt to lighten up the situation, but the choke in your voice only convinced you you had done otherwise. A knot had formed itself in your throat as it was the only thing keeping your urge to cry from escaping you. “Y/N… you know I didn’t mean it that way,” Jungkook gently explained. In your peripherals, you could see Jungkook’s hand reaching out to yours, only to stop in the midst of its track when you flinched in response. He retracted his hand slowly while his expression softened, his piercing gaze no longer drilling a hole into your already fragile self. It was difficult to see him so hesitant in engaging in skinship with you, especially since it was something he used to do so casually. Perhaps he was considering his relationship with Yuri, or maybe it was because now he could no longer see you as just his best friend. Either way, maybe this was for the best. Maybe this would only lessen the pain you had to endure. “Yeah, but it still sounded like it…” you mumbled with your lips barely parted. You dropped your hand from the wall and grabbed your left arm’s elbow, creating a protective barrier between you and Jungkook. He glanced at your new stance and reclined his overarching shoulders, ruffling his hair nervously. “I’m sorry. I should’ve been more careful,” he softly apologized. It was too late to apologize now, just like how it was too late for you to confess. “Can’t you look at me, Y/N? Please?” he asked with the utmost gentleness in his voice. No, because if you did, you didn’t think you could keep yourself from bawling any longer. Tears were already welling up in your eyes, and as much as you wanted him to know just how much he was hurting you, another part of you wanted to prevent yourself from exposing the you that cried because of him. Ironically, it wasn’t his business, because he had no reason to accept you and was clearly free from any obligations to see you as anything more than a friend. So you stubbornly stood there with your head hung low, your head barely shaking side to side as you avoided his worrying eyes for a little bit longer. Seeing how unresponsive you were becoming, Jungkook quietly sighed before tilting his head to the side where he could better see your face. “So… are you saying that Yuri wasn’t the one who wrote those letters?” he murmured. Something about the way he phrased his sentence irritated you, but nevertheless, you nodded your head. Your hand clutched onto your other elbow tightly as your stomach churned with anticipation. “You’re saying that Yuri’s lying?” Jungkook bluntly asked. And that was the final straw for you. You could just picture his brows quirking questioningly, and sure enough, when you raised your head to meet your gaze with his, Jungkook was staring at you as though you were the one lying. The irritation intermixed with your pain was all in your eyes as it met Jungkook’s, his eyes widening and his brows relaxing as he was taken aback by your sudden change of expression. “Why are you talking as though I’m just spewing out lies? ‘You’re saying’ this, ‘you’re saying’ that. Are you seriously going to side with this girl you haven’t even been seeing for a month?” you spat out one of the many things that had tangled itself deep in your chest. Jungkook frowned at you with his brows furrowed in annoyance. “I didn’t say that you’re lying. I was just asking you if she was lying. I wasn’t even siding with her!” “Well, if you’re going to ask me something as trude as that, then fine. You asked for it. Your girlfriend is lying straight to your face,” you scoffed. The aggressive tone of your voice surprised you, it wasn’t like you were mad at him. To be honest, you were mostly upset about how somehow she had become to victim and you were the suspect. How could he side with someone he hadn’t even been with for more than a few weeks? How could he abandon you, his best friend of many years, for someone who dared to lie to him? He deserved better but he couldn’t even see it. He tensed up, his lips curving downwards into a frown and his brows knitted on you. “Don’t talk like that about her,” he sternly warned you. “What? You asked me to,” you crossed your arms and challenged him with the toughest expression you could put up. Truth be told, your heart was breaking on the inside, piece by piece as he continued to take her side and not yours. Did all those years really mean nothing to him? Could he really throw it away so easily within a split second? “Still. I’m serious Y/N, don’t talk about her like that,” he reciprocated your stance by crossing his arms and leaning his body against the wall. You were practically confessing your heart out to him and here he was, acting so protectively over his girlfriend, so casually leaning his weight onto the wall when you leaned on it for support in fear of collapsing onto your knees. Your confession was supposed to be light and merry with butterflies fluttering in your stomach and your heart threatening to explode with joy. Yet here you were, the feelings that you had held in for so long, waiting for the right time to confess, being disregarded this quickly. It wasn’t supposed to happen like this. “Why does she get special treatment?” you could barely squeak out without giving away the slight hitch of your voice. “I would do this for you too, Y/N. I would do anything for you. You’re my best friend, I would never let anything hurt you,” he firmly spoke, tilting his head ever so slightly to connect his worried gaze with yours. He gave you a small reassuring smile, the curve of his lips only exuding a bittersweet aura. You knew he was waiting for you to return his smile or perhaps give some form of sign to show you acknowledged your misunderstanding, but truth was, you didn’t misunderstand. It was as clear as the sky. Jungkook thought of you as his best friend, he would do anything for you as your best friend. Best friend, best friend, friend, friend… but they were always one word away from the label you had always longed to hear him proclaim you as. You couldn’t return his smile, in fact, you couldn’t give him any form of recognition, because you didn’t recognize your misunderstanding. And to draw the line even clearer between you and Jungkook, between you and Yuri, between the two worlds that belonged to you and Jungkook, you asked him a simple question. “So if you would do anything for me, why won’t you believe me over Yuri?” “I–I don’t know,” he mumbled, looking away with his head hung low in guilt and his eyes glued to the floor. The split second he averted his eyes, a piercing pain crossed your chest and transcended in the form of chills across your body. Whether it was the stabbing sensation of betrayal or the sudden realization of his hesitation dawning upon you, either way you couldn’t help but question his intentions. What was the point of hiding from you? Was he trying not to hurt you even further? As much as a part of you so desperately begged for every speck of attention from Jungkook, the present part of you pleaded for him to look away, to forget about you and leave you without a trace of guilt. Because you knew it was the only way you could get over him. Because you knew you would take his kindness for granted and you would only hopelessly fall for him once again. There was really nothing left for you to do but scoff in disbelief. “So it was all talk, huh?” you said aloud to yourself. “No, no, please understand Y/N. It’s just so much to take in right now… why didn’t you tell me earlier?” he shook his head as he furrowed his brows in frustration. “I… couldn’t,” you muttered the best answer you could come up with. “Why not? You could’ve told me anything. We’re best friends, of course I’d listen to you,” Jungkook explained, still incapable of completely wrapping his head around what he was saying. “That’s the whole point why I wrote those notes, Jungkook,” you sighed, “because you wouldn’t see me as anything but your best friend. I could only be something more than that on paper…but I guess it didn’t even work.” You somehow managed to reveal your inner thoughts, but all Jungkook could do was stare at you quizzically and the pent up mixture of emotions finally got to you. “You know what? Just forget what I said. Forget everything that happened today, please. I’m begging you,” your voice was interrupted by a sob, catching both of you off guard as you covered your face in embarrassment. You were surprised to find your hands dry of tears, only your chest was heaving up and down in syncopation with the sobs you tried to keep in. “No, Y/N,” he gently pleaded you, “please believe me when I say you mean so much to me. It’s just so much to take in right now. Just give me some more time to take this in.” You were just about to run away from all of the embarrassment when he gently took your hands in his. You didn’t notice it until now, but your hands were freezing cold as his hands cupped over yours, sending warmth throughout you and your shaking heart. It was times like this when you doubted yourself. How could you give him up so easily when your body told you otherwise? When butterflies fluttered in your stomach and your adrenaline pumped through your veins, how could you convince yourself that you were fine without him? “Alright–” “–Jungkook-ah!” Yuri’s voice drowned yours out as it echoed down in the hallway. Your heart nearly stopped for a second as you intently watched Jungkook’s change of expression. His eyes widened in shock as he gaped at Yuri, not knowing what to do. Taking a deep breath, you tried to retract your hands from his before Yuri could see, but Jungkook held onto yours tight. He squeezed your hand and reconnected his eyes with yours. “Just give me a little bit more time, okay? I swear I’ll sort everything out by then,” he firmly promised, keeping his voice low and hidden from the curious passerbys. Before you could say anything, Jungkook took a step to the side towards Yuri, but it seemed like something in you was begging for him to stay. Your hands grabbed ahold of his tightly, refusing to let him go as he looked back in confusion. It was all happening in a blur, so you could only gaze at him with tears welling up in yours eyes with your lips parted when you failed to utter any words. He winced when his eyes met yours, his brows knitted in guilt as he hesitantly and gradually retracted his hands from yours. He placed his hand over yours to gently unlatch it from him, before stroking your head as he had always done. “I’m sorry…” he murmured. “Jungkook-ah! What’re you doing? Is Y/N okay?” Yuri called out to him loudly, causing everyone to glance between the two of you. “A-ah, I’m coming!” Jungkook stuttered, giving you one last empathetic smile before turning his back on you to jog his way towards his girlfriend. Yuri quickly grabbed his hand in hers and swung it in the air with a gleaming smile, dragging him down the hallway with her as it didn’t take them very long to break into laughter. With every one of his footsteps, your heart sank deeper and deeper into despair. Even if it wasn’t his intention to, it felt as though he was trampling all over your notes and heart. Seeing Jungkook physically leave you for her made you fume inside, you had never wanted to break something as much as you did then. And as much as you wanted to hurt Yuri for inciting this whole mess, you knew Jungkook would be upset and you just couldn’t bare the thought of hurting him in the process. So all you could do was wait, wait for the day he could formulate some type of answer for you. It wasn’t like you hadn’t done this before, after all, you had waited nearly a year for him to catch onto the letters. But this time it was different. This time around, his heart already belonged to another girl… and that girl wasn’t you. - Alas, that day you had waited for never came. For the next week, Jungkook no longer sat at the back corner of the classroom where he would usually sit waiting for you. He never waved his arms or gestured at you to come over with that adorable smile of his. In fact, you missed his toothy smile so much that you’d somehow wind up foolishly grinning at the selfie you two had taken on your phone wallpaper. He didn’t shoot you mischievous glances during class, nor did he send you silly texts behind the professor’s back. Every time you’d pass by him in the hallways, he’d hang his head low in an attempt to avoid making eye contact with you. It was as though he was making an utmost effort to break his promise. Was it all a baseless excuse formed from pity? You sat on the bench, your knees bouncing up and down to warm yourself from the breezy weather. Lately, you had been taking the bus home instead as a way to avoid having bittersweet flashbacks of Jungkook walking you home from school. It wasn’t very long ago, but life without your best friend and crush sure did seem to drag on slowly. As another gentle zephyr blew against the exposed skin of your legs, you felt someone plopping down onto the bench right next to you. “Y/N, I didn’t know you took the bus too!” you heard an all so familiar voice chime. Taking a deep breath, you gathered up all the will in you not to punch the living guts out of her right then and there. “Yeah, I didn’t know too…” you muttered under your breath as you glared at her through the corner of your eyes. There Yuri was, sitting with her hands folded neatly in her lap and an innocent, cheerful smile plastered all over her face. If you hadn’t known her for who she really was, you swore you would’ve fallen for her rather angelic appearance. She shuffled in her seat, obviously uncomfortable from your dart-like stare. “Ah… did I do something to make you mad, Y/N? Oh, was it because of last week?” she asked, batting her eyes gracefully. “No, I’m not mad,” you scoffed sarcastically. “Oh. Maybe we started off on the wrong foot. I don’t really want to be in bad terms with my boyfriend’s best friend, so let’s get along, okay?” she cheekily smiled, reaching her hand out towards you. Boyfriend’s best friend, you repeated in your head, when haven’t you heard that before? “You don’t have to get along with me. I’m not his best friend anymore,” you mumbled as you sighed, rolling your eyes at the sight of her hand but not making any attempt to shake it. “Oh, really? But that’s not what he said…” she awkwardly laughed before taking her hand back into her lap. Your ears practically perked up as you glanced at her with your brows raised in growing impatience. “Jungkook mentioned me?” you nearly yelled out. Yuri jolted back in shock, her eyes widening like a deer caught in the headlights. “No… not particularly? Why…?” “Oh, really? Never mind then. Did he talk to you about anything?” you casually switched the topic. You intently watched her in your peripherals, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to decipher her lies from the truth. “No… why? Did he find out about anything…?” she nervously chuckled, her thumbs twiddling in her lap. Your heart sunk as you reclined in your seat, you had confirmed your suspicions. Jungkook didn’t talk to her about it after all. So he believed in Yuri’s lies and disregarded your own claims. Then why did he ask for more time? Why did he have to give you one last bit of hope before it all inevitably came crashing down? “Oh, I almost forgot! Jungkook’s walking me home today,” she jumped out of her seat and patted your shoulder, “I have to go now. I’ll see you later Y/N!” You swore you were about to burn of jealousy, because whether it was intended or not, she was only rubbing your no where near healed wound. Thankfully, the bus arrived by the curb side before you could give it more thought. You climbed your way up the front entrance of the bus, pulling out your student ID and flashing it to the driver. The bus was already filled with students from the last stop, so it took your eyes a while to roam around and find an empty spot. Surprisingly, the only spot left was seated next to Park Jimin, who seemed to be asleep with earphones still plugged in. You’d much rather be alone at the moment, but what choice did you have? Making your way down the aisle, you plopped down into the seat, accidentally startling Jimin awake. “Oh? Y/N, I didn’t know you took the bus?” Jimin croaked, his voice still raspy and deep from his sleep. He took off his earbuds and glanced at you with one eye closed and his other just barely peeped open. As much as you didn’t want to admit it, you couldn’t keep your eyes off of him and his alluring looks. “Well, I do now,” you rolled your eyes having heard this question for a second time now. “I thought you usually walked home with–” he recalled before cutting himself off, “–is Yuri coming on? I sometimes see her at the bus stop after school.” “No. She said her boyfriend’s picking her up today,” you mimicked her voice, shrilling in such a high pitch that Jimin had to push your jaw up to shut you up. “You didn’t have to do that,” he grimaced, shaking as though chills were making its way down his back. “Sorry,” you simply replied as the both of you quietly chuckled. “So have you been talking to Jungkook recently? Did things work out?” Jimin nonchalantly asked as he reached his right arm over to rest on the top back of your seat. “Well, what do you think? Is he still dating Yuri?” “Good point,” he reluctantly acknowledged before continuing, “so are you going to give up now?” You sighed in annoyance, because quite honestly, you didn’t know the answer yourself. You were sick of asking yourself the same questions over and over when in the end, you knew your heart would do whatever it desired. You never asked to fall for your best friend, you didn’t even want to confess until it was forced out of you. “I don’t know, Jimin. I really don’t know,” you exasperated. “Come to think of it, did you ever tell him the things you told him in your letters?” you frowned at Jimin’s question and quirked your brow questioningly. “What do you mean? Of course I comforted him in person.” “No, no,” he shook his head before narrowing his eyes at you, “I mean, have you ever told him how you truly felt? In person?” “How I feel…?” you repeated, your mind wandering off elsewhere. “Yeah. I mean I know you told him you wrote the letters, but did you tell him you liked him?” he restated his question, emphasizing his last few words. “As one of his close friends, I have to say Jungkook’s pretty fucking dense. You’d probably have to shock him in some way to get it through his head.” “I’d have to shock him? I mean, I never exactly told him that I liked him, but isn’t it obvious if I told him about the letters…?” you hesitantly said. Jimin shrugged as he pressed his lips into a thin line, “as I said, that boy’s pretty dense.” The bus slowed down and drifted close to the side of the curb where the next bus stop was located when Jimin’s eyes lit up. He nearly jumped out of his seat as he pointed out at something beyond the front window, “yah, isn’t that Jungkook?” You hesitantly turned your head to glance over your right shoulder when sure enough, Jungkook was walking his usual pathway home. And to your surprise, Yuri was nowhere to be seen. Your heart skipped a beat as you saw your last bit of hope, thumping against your chest so hard as it had never done before. Maybe this was just the foolish side of you hoping there would be one more chance for you, or maybe it was truly a chance you had to grasp before it got away. So with Jimin’s help, you stammered up onto your feet and stumbled your way off the bus and down the curb. “Jungkook,” you quietly said under your breath before breaking out into a sprint, “Jeon Jungkook!” Jungkook turned around to face you, his eyes widening in shock and his entire body freezing in the midst of his tracks. The bus had already started to drive away from the curb, sending a warm breeze across your legs and urging you to move forward. If Jungkook was really that dense, then maybe you had to knock some sense into him. You needed some impact, because it was now or nothing. You closed the distance between the two of you, nearly slamming yourself against his chest as you wrapped your arms around his neck. Shutting your eyes, you took a leap of faith and pulled him down towards you, pushing your lips against his own soft, vanilla scented lips for a short second. After what seemed like eternity, you unlatched yourself from Jungkook and roughly pushed him against his chest as he stared at you with his eyes almost popping out. “I like you, you dumbass.” -J It might be a few days before I can Upload the next Chapter as Im moving to another country @namjoonxme@breholmes @NaughTAE @staceyholley @VeronicaArtino @ChelseaAustin @SaiT @Emealia @sarahdarwish @herreravanessa9 @DestinaByrd @AlloBaber @LaynicornLay @PrincessUnicorn @RihannaTiaMay @KatieRussell @SugalessJams @ILikeHisFace123 @heidichiesa @SugaOnTop @katiems @DesireeChucklez @jaebug @moonchild03 @terenailyn @xsandos17 @SugaKookieV @11erinmims @kpopandkimchi @JinsPrincess86 @Tigerlily84 @PrettieeEmm @byeolbit @ChelseaJay @KellyOConnor @poojas @VixenViVi @StephanieDuong @KDramaKPop1015 @MadAndrea @VIPforever123 @fallchild @solodaywithB1A4 @MorleeCorielus @JaxomB @ARMYStarlight @luna1171 @AgentLeo @Roxt1903 @amandamuska @GDsGF @amobts @sherrysahar @kpopdeluxegirl @CheyenneJesse @KaceyDodge @MyaIsNotSexy @Qilin94 @DeniseiaGardner @abiersack666 @Taehyungkey @BtsIsLife @Bitterlimelight @KpopQueenaBee @Rhia @Kieuseru @sherrysahar @VIPFreak2NE1 @yewookyu @Kyokeo @JohnEvans @taetaebaozi @RainaC3 @MonUnicorn @terenailyn @LilySilver @KpopGaby @heidichiesa @KeziahWright @Dabaesaplayer @ShimJooKyung @SamanthaRae19 @DawanaMason @destiny1419 @AlloBaber @SugalessJams @ninjamidori @PrettieeEmm @JadeOwens @Dabaesaplayer @Ercurrent @KwonOfAKind @JasminMartinez @torchix @jessicacheung97 @MandyNoona @jaykook @HarperKennett @DawanaMason @btsgotshinee @AdiaJasinski @shisuschrist @SugaMint @KokoroNoTakara @saraortiz2002 @tinathellama @wordlesseyes @ChelseaGarcia @externallyeli @imahurrucane @amberg171997 @ArmyofKookie @JordanShuler @SunshineChang @tazneemhinnawl @mrsjeon @NancyVongvilay @LexiMintkgtopty @kpopbunny9 @ManaiaPio @LizaNightshade @clstap1 @Defy24601 @Chocolat09 @KaiJae @Dalicity @BetseyBleau @IsoldaPazo @LinnyOk @AnnieGoodman @DasiaB @GossamoKewen95 @Vay754 @gigiandviking @deeeDUH @maddsanzen @kristendmh @Mogu @PolarStarr @resavalencia @zlklrn @SweetDuella @SNBlackRose @KiinLyr @hayoungforever @MRich @KarenGuerra93 @TracyLynnn @AlenaSegura @KierstinAndrews @Badtz @cagonzalez9696 @VickyLe @sugakookies95 @tayamay1232 @luvella18 @mahelysandoval@lexxcisco@alyssagelet818@vkookie47 @starbell808@cristinreynolds@bubblekookie@chace @mrsyookihyun@johnevans@eliseb@stefanitre @vatcheeafandi99@crystalguerra@xroyalresix@kiinlyr @emilypeacock@aliciazitting88@mitchix5@hopekookie @linnyok@isoldapazo@xxxtina@aimeeh@taliamay14 @sammie99522@kellyoconnor@msloyalheart@kyokeo @moonchild03@mrsjeon@sarahvandorn@bridgetjara @vay754@russelroche47 @jojojordy2324@kpopaddict415@sorryimanna@choijiah @greciaflores@resavalencia@heidichiesa@agentleo @chocolate09@aracelijimenez@shellyfuentes70@nikkitty @jazgaara33@zeerow@trollied@sarahdarwish @amberg171997@rina143@karenguerra93@sugamint @isismayavelasco@eswee@mrsjeon@taetaebaozi @sassymaknae@xxchicharitoxx@harukachiharu @jaeneashajones@milcalopez963@destiny1419 @tazneemhinnawi@crystalblunt@karinajune1017 @sophienguyen@kkaneki@lizanightshade@princessfoxfire @namjooniesbae@sophienguyen@lilithium @bambamisbae@pharmgirlerin@samantharamdath@dalicity @vickyle@wiampark@mrsdarkmiracle@ikpoper @hilmjungkook@xoxorittie@jinsprincess@rachelwoo2 @amandamuska@kookieandjin@krin@exoasf@takenbykpop @xoxojessica12@btsjungkook1997@elainarenea @jezzicrypt@bangsuju@annevictoriaaa@esmeraldagutirr @lovelikematoi@safamohamed@kaei@uniangel18 @kimnam94@embermoll@vipgirl5@melissagarza @elainarenea@yoongistan@aripendragon@sugakookiev @polarstarr@mrsdarkcircle@piercehorizon@everiemisfit @sweetduella@karenguerra93 @jazeemon@lashonda0917 @evilgenius@btsxexo@taetaeboazi@yessicacardenas @maricela17mrn@chace@kenyamendoza@minyoongii @BecaB@divanicola05@yoongiinfiresme@Eli20@tiffany1922 @senia @jiminakpop @hskswife @Josyy7 @army98 @lopleaf19 @amotbts Want to be added to my fics let me know
Paper Hearts: Pt. 1 (Jungkook)
Paper airplanes, paper towns, paper hearts… None of which from its time of creation to the time it ceases were they meant to last forever. They were a result of human creation, a temporary craft meant to satisfy what its creators could not have. Regardless of how many papers you’d fold, they would never adequately express your feelings to him. You gave him nothing but meaningless letters with hints that led to dead ends. Perhaps he never caught onto your hints for this very reason. He would never see you for your true self, he only saw you the way he wanted to see you. You were his best friend, nothing more, nothing less. Yet for as long as you were somewhere within his heart, you were content. You told yourself you could be second, third, or even last, because you were willing to wait… but just how long could your feelings stand against the test of time? Holding the paper in between your two fumbling hands, you scurried your way down the hall as your eyes nervously scanned through the corridor to check for possible outsiders. No one could find out about the long held secret you had kept from the public for months now, especially not the recipient of your message. Your heart thudded against your chest so hard you could barely breathe, waves of adrenaline and nerves flowing throughout your veins. To impair you even further, your knees threatened to buck and your lips quivered in fear. You had to deliver your note to his locker before break ends, you told yourself. But more importantly, you had to get this done before he returned from the main gym. Out of the blue, the school bell rang its usual high pitched, deafening tune, signaling the end of brunch. Your heart nearly jumped out of your chest as you jolted in shock and your eyes widened in panic. You bolted up to his locker, labelled exactly as you had memorized, 151020, and smacked the paper heart onto the metallic surface of his locker before squirming towards the end of the hallway. Taking a sharp turn to the left at the end of the hall, you hid behind the wall and waited for your recipient to make his way down the other side as per usual. Crowds of students passed by you on their way to class, fortunately none of them free enough to question your odd behavior. There Jungkook came with a basketball in one hand and his vacant hand adjusting the red snapback lying on his chocolate brown hair. You peeked out from the edge of the wall, trying to catch a clearer view of him. He waved goodbye to his friends and strided his way towards his locker with a wide toothy smile plastered all over his face. The beads of sweat dripping from his temples only enhanced his already radiant grin as you thought to yourself: this must have been the millionth time you had fallen for his adorable, bunny like smile. It was something about the way his nose slightly crinkled as small creases appear on the sides of his crescent shaped eyes… no wonder so many girls fanned over him in awe, you being no exception of course. But the second his friends departed for their classes, his smile faded into a frown and an expression void of emotions replaced his bright eyes. You knew he had been stressing over his classwork the last few days, but that didn’t stop your chest from aching in pain and sinking in sympathy. You could only hope the words of encouragement you had written on the sticky note would cheer him up as it had always done. Butterflies fluttered in your stomach as Jungkook opened up his locker, causing you to feel as though you would collapse any second. He cutely pursed his lips while rummaging through his mess of a locker to find the textbooks required for his next class with you. Your nails dug into the surface of the brick wall as you bit your bottom lip in anticipation. Tossing his basketball into the locker, he slammed the locker shut and nearly turned his back onto the note when his eyes do a double take. His entire expression lightened up after having spotted the note, a spark of excitement flashing across his dark brown eyes. A cheeky grin began to grow on Jungkook’s face with only his two front teeth peeking through under his upper lip. You carefully watched his reaction as his eyes lingered on every word before regretfully moving onto the next one. His smile grew wider and wider by the second while he reread the note for the tenth time in a row, your own smile mirroring his as you rejoiced at the thought of making his day once again. Carefully placing the paper heart into the deep depths of his pockets, he goofily chuckled to himself and shuffled his way back to class. The coast was clear, seeing how everyone had already made it to class, so you stepped out from behind the wall and into the hallway to head to class yourself. You quickly paced your way down the hallway in the same direction as Jungkook, a slight skip evident in your steps. Even if Jungkook didn’t know who the author behind these mysterious notes is, you were content with knowing that you had put a smile on his face. It didn’t matter who he thought the it was, after all, you had somehow managed to convince yourself that as long as he was happy, you were happy. Just as the bell rang to signal the start of class, you stepped foot into the classroom. Far on the upper end of the auditorium sized room, you found Jungkook exactly where he had sat waiting for you every day in the past year. He spotted you within a split second, nearly jumping out of his seat with a large smile on his face. You quirk your eyebrow amusedly when Jungkook mouthed some incomprehensible words from afar before gesturing for you to sit next to him. You giddily reciprocate his eagerness by jogging your way up the flight of stairs while everyone waited for the professor’s arrival. “Hey, what’s up?” you breathily greeted him. Jungkook quickly reached up from his chair to grab your wrist and pull you down into your own, causing you to nearly yelp out in surprise. “Whoa, whoa. Calm down! What’s up with you today?” you chuckled unknowingly although you already knew what had happened. “Guess what I found on my locker today?” he loudly whispered to you, his body leaning forward and his hand covering one side of his lips as though this was a top secret conversation. You pressed your lips into a straight line and shrugged, a smile creeping its way onto your face as you tried to keep a poker face. “What?” Jungkook frowned as he rolled his eyes, proceeding to nudge you with his elbow like an impatient child. You couldn’t help but giggle at how rapidly his knees were bouncing and how his eyes were filled with energy. “I told you to guess,” he whined, placing his hand over yours and shaking it around. “I don’t know… you freak out over everything!” “No I don’t,” he frowned. “Last time you freaked out when I brought chips to class,” you remarked, your lips pressing into a thin line. “Okay, but that doesn’t count. You know how much I love snacks,” he exasperated before continuing, “aish… never mind, just guess.” He nudged you once again, his hands grabbing yours and swinging it back and forth. As your body was being helplessly pushed back and forth with his gentle, yet powerful hands, you knitted your brows at him to display your utmost sincere confusion. “Ay… you know what I’m talking about,” he hissed before lowering his volume even further, “the anonymous notes I’ve been getting everyday!” In an attempt to play along, you widened your eyes and covered your mouth as you gasped. You leaned in closer to him, your brows raising in astonishment and your gaze meeting his large, innocent circular eyes. “Do you think it’s someone from this class…?” “I think it might be. Wait, look,” he whipped around to grab something out from his backpack. A pile of heart shaped papers fell out of his binder as he pulled out a piece of binder paper. You couldn’t fight the grin off your face having seen your notes so neatly placed in Jungkook’s backpack. He had always been a messy student, losing worksheets left and right, but that made you feel even more special for he had kept all of your little post-it notes throughout the months. “I’ve narrowed it down to five possible people. I’m pretty sure she’s at least one of them,” he confidently stated. Your eyes widened in fright as you felt your heart nearly stop at the list he laid down on the table. Your heart was rapidly pounding against your chest, sending a sense of fight or flight across your system. He couldn’t have found out about your schemes right? It wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing if he did, but you certainly weren’t prepared for him to expose you right then and there. Plus, he had always mentioned about how much he cherished his friendship with you and how he would never change things between the two of you. If he found out about how you truly felt, what would happen to you two? You wanted him to know how you felt, but were your own selfish desires really worth risking it? Was it worth putting your best friendship on the line? Fear is all that ran through your mind as you prepared yourself to somehow lie your way out of this. You didn’t want him to find out after all, not if it meant your relationship would change for the worse. You skimmed through his short list of names only to frown when you failed to find your name on his list. As much as you were relieved your feelings could remain hidden for a little longer, it was impossible for you to deny how much your heart sank at that split second. Why weren’t you on his list? You were his closest friend, his best friend, so how could he possibly not suspect you at all? You were upset, so impossibly upset that your chest ached and your stomach churned as you clutched the hem of your sweater into your clenched fists. He never saw you as more than a friend, and you couldn’t put all the blame on him either. It wasn’t his fault he never caught onto your feelings, after all, you would never muster up enough courage to confess. But this very moment, this split second of doubt and regret made you realize just how much you wanted him to know your true feelings. “So, what do you think Y/N?” he gently bumped his knees into yours, urging you to break your silence. “Um…” you muttered, releasing your sweater from your grips when you realized just how tightly you were clutching onto it. “How can you be so sure of your list…?” “Well, a man’s instinct?” he quirked his brows playfully. You rolled your eyes in response and turned in your seat to face the professor who was walking into the classroom at that moment, but Jungkook placed his hands on your shoulders to turn you back to face him once again. “Okay, okay, I’m joking,” he chuckled. “They’re the only five people I could think of who would know so much about me. I mean, they’ve been writing so many personal words of encouragement at the moments when I needed them most… it has to be someone close to me.” “Yeah, and do I not know much about you?” you scoffed, rolling your eyes once again. At this point, you were more so angry than upset. Was he really this oblivious? “Yeah, but you’re my best friend,” his lips curved downward as he tried to hold in his laugh. “So?” you blurted out with a harsher tone than expected. Jungkook grabbed your hand before interlacing his fingers with yours. His hand fit so perfectly with yours, it was like two jigsaw pieces made for the sole purpose of being together. It ached your heart to gaze at his hand connected to yours so comfortably. He was so casual in the way he intimately held your hand, but what he didn’t know was how fast your heart was racing because of him. Was he going crazy on the inside like you? Did his heart race by the mere graze of your hand? Probably not, because he only thought of you as a friend. He was comfortable doing things like this to you, because it meant nothing more to him than embracing a friend who seemed to be having a bad day. “…are you okay, Y/N? You don’t seem to be in a very good mood today. Did something happen?” he gently asked with that soft voice of his. “I’m fine…” you muttered, your hand hesitantly detaching from his as you returned it into your lap. Jungkook peered at you with concern, a sign of hurt flickering across his eyes when you rejected his hands that reached out for you. You cleared your throat and lifted your eyes up from the ground and back to his eyes, forcing a smile onto your face. “Yeah, so go on,” you urged, gently bumping your knees with his and reassuringly smiling at him. “Are you sure you’re okay? You can always tell me about everything. We can talk about this later, it’s not important anyways,” he hesitantly asked, his eyes peering over at you with those soft, gentle expression of his. “Yeah, I’m totally fine,” you shook your head before forcing yourself to chuckle. In reality, you wanted to tell him how terrible the conversation made you feel, about how much you dreaded the way he friendzoned you every single time. It was sad how much you used to confide in him about anything and everything, but now you were lying to his face in fear of exposing your own feelings. “So, who do you think it is then?” “Okay, but I’ll always be here for you,” he gently smiled, one corner of his lips curving upwards. Jungkook’s hand hovered over yours as they naturally did, but he immediately pulled it back and reclined in his seat. He bit his lip at his own mistake, his eyes glancing down at your hands in regret. You gulped and averted his eye contact for a split second, a sinking feeling in your chest taking place when you realized how much you had hurt him. You wanted him to touch you, but you were afraid that you would only want more afterwards. “To be honest… I actually already know who it is.” Your heart froze. He knew who it was? Did that mean he knew it was you all along? Your eyes widen with panic as your entire body went cold. “R-really…?” you stuttered. “Yeah, I met up with her a few weeks ago. I subtly asked her about it, and she sort of confirmed it,” he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. “Oh…” you mumbled as you furrowed your brows in confusion. There was no way someone other than you would know about the notes, because you were the one who wrote them after all. It angered you how twisted this was becoming. Someone was taking credit for your effort, your feelings, your heart. You clutched the hem of your sweater tightly as you fought the urge to expose the truth to him. You wanted so badly to clear up the misunderstanding, because those were your feelings he was receiving, not whomever he thought it was. “Who is it?” “Yuri!” Jungkook grinned with genuine excitement, causing you to wince in pain. He averted his eyes to stare at the desk, a shy expression replacing his cheerful smile. “Actually… we’ve been seeing each other these past two weeks. She’s a really nice girl,” he chuckles to himself. “Ah,” you uttered. So he had fallen for someone else already, huh? Was it still too late for you to hope for anything more between the two of you? You couldn’t believe your eyes, watching Jungkook shyly smiling for another girl. A girl who claimed to have written those notes everyday for the past year. A girl who took your credit as though it would enable her to win over his heart, and it did. A girl who should’ve been you. To be quite honest, you wanted to burst into tears right then and there, but something was holding you back from doing so. Instead, a twisted smile danced on the corners of your lips. You quietly chuckled at yourself as though you had realized the cruel reality of unrequited love. “Come to think of it, aren’t you friends with her?” he scooted towards you to whisper his next few words. “Be honest with me, have you been telling her about me whenever I was down? Because you’re the only one who would know so much about my struggles, and honestly, I was kind of surprised that she was the one behind it all along.” “Um…I guess we’re kind of friends,” you stared at the ground not knowing how to answer. Should you play along with the lies Yuri had created? Should you play along to make Jungkook happy? Or should you clear up this misunderstanding and possibly ruin the perfect friendship you and Jungkook had? Thankfully, the bell rang to signal the start of lunch, saving you from having to answer his question. You immediately scrambled to pack your things up, sensing a wave of sorrow run through you as tears began to well up in your eyes. You dared not to blink, knowing very well that it would only incite you to burst out in tears. Holding in your breath, you pressed your lips into a thin line and avoided his gaze. You didn’t even spare a glimpse at Jungkook who confusedly watched you pack up in a hurry. “Whoa, slow down there. There’s still going to be food at the cafeteria no matter how fast you pack up,” he chuckled at you. “Ah, I almost forgot to tell you. I’m going to be eating with Yuri today, so don’t wait for me and find your friends, okay? I have to meet up with her now,” Jungkook stood up and swung his backpack over his shoulders before ruffling your hair and hugging you from behind. “Cheer up, okay?” he cooed into your ears, his lips brushing up against the few hair strands that covered your ears. He roughly ruffled your hair once again, patting your head in his usual comforting ways and left the classroom. You were glad all of his ruffling made your hair strands fall to the sides of your face, covering up the tears that had managed to escape from you. The endless waterworks dampened your jeans, but that was the least of your worries. All you could think about was the stinging pain of your chest as it heaved up and down in syncopation with your silent sobs. How could things go so awry? What did you do to deserve this? It was your feelings that he could never seem to catch onto. Maybe it was because he didn’t want to. How could he fall for someone for something that she had to lie for? How could he fall for the wrong person? All of these questions didn’t matter anymore. It was too late and it was your fault for not clearing things up when you had the chance. You sank into your chair, your arms lying on the desk as you collapsed into them and began to sob to your heart’s content in the now empty room. - The food lying on your lunch tray was as unappetizing as ever. You poked at it with your spoon, but never took a bite out of it. You weren’t in the mood to eat, especially not when you were sitting on the bench alone in a cafeteria filled with people. It wasn’t that you didn’t have friends, because you did, it was just that you knew they would ask you about your bloodshot eyes. So you sat there alone, poking at your food as you waited for lunchtime to end. Staring down at your untouched food, another tray plopped down across from you, causing you to look upward in surprise. “Yah, what’s a pretty girl like you sitting here alone?” the boy teased, winking at you as he sat down on the other side of the table. “Quit it, Jimin. I’m not in the mood for your playboy ways,” you scoffed. “Yah, I told you for the hundredth time, stop making me sound like a player!” he grimaced, frowning at you before taking a big bite out of his pile of food. “So where’s your best friend Jungkook?” “I don’t know. Isn’t he your best friend?” you mumbled, staring off into space. “Ah, really? Well, you’re for sure his closest girl friend. I even thought you two were dating at some point!” he exclaimed, his laughter dying down when he realized how you weren’t laughing along. At least this time it didn’t hurt as much, you were already dry of tears, you were numb of all feelings. Jimin waved his hand in front of your eyes, his own large, circular eyes worriedly peering at you under his fallen, black bangs. “Hey, are you okay? Your eyes are all red… did something happen?” “I’m fine…” you grumbled, leaning your head against your elbow. “Hm… really? Doesn’t seem like it to me,” he sing-songed, taking another bite from his food, this time the vegetable portion of his tray. “I saw him with another girl down the hall just now. What was her name… ah, I really can’t remember. What’s he doing with her?” “They’re dating,” you simply stated. His eyes widened in shock, his spoon dramatically dropping onto his tray. “Really?! No way… I could’ve sworn he liked you?!” “Well, apparently not. Because I’m his ‘best friend,’” you quoted him, his painful words etched clearly into your mind. “Does he know about your letters?” “My what?” you gasped, doing a double take as you gawked at him with widened eyes. “Your letters. Those little paper hearts you’d stick on his locker every day,” he innocently said, cocking his head to the side in confusion. “Yah, quiet down! You’re going to make everyone hear!” you hushed him. “Why? Isn’t it better if everyone finds out?” he raised his voice, snickering at you as you panicked and covered his mouth with your hands. “Okay, okay, I’m guessing you didn’t tell him,” he removed your hands from his lips and pretended to zip his lips shut. “Geez… how’d you find out anyways?” you asked. “I saw you delivering them once. I thought it was pretty cute of you,” he smiled, his cresent eyes making an appearance. You couldn’t help but admit it, he really was a pretty boy. “Whatever. It’s too late now anyways. He thinks that Yuri wrote them herself.” “Ah, Yuri’s her name?” Jimin nodded as he hummed to himself. “Mm… why don’t you just tell him now? Before it gets worse.” “No, I can’t. He likes her too much, I can’t just do that. It’d be selfish of me,” you muttered, a sharp pain piercing your heart as you said it out loud. “You know, Y/N, I think you’re too nice sometimes. You need to think about yourself more,” he advised when his eyes brightened as he stared at something from behind you. “Oh, well here’s your first chance to make things right.” You turned around to glance over your shoulders only to have your heart sink deep into your chest. Jungkook was striding his way across the cafeteria with Yuri next to him before jogging his way down the hallway alone, leaving Yuri waiting in the corner. “Come on, let’s go,” Jimin blurted out, stepping on top of the table and jumping onto your side of the table. He grabbed your hand and dragged you towards Yuri, causing you to yelp out in refusal. “Hey, Yuri,” Jimin charmingly smiled at her before pushing you forward. “Y/N here needs to ask you something.” “Uh no I don’t–” “–well I have to get going now. Have fun ladies!” he cut you off, waving you goodbye and skipping his way down the hallway. Yuri stood there in front of you with her arms down at your sides, staring at you in confusion. “What did you want to ask me, Y/N?” “Um…” you scratched the back of your neck before blurting out your next few words. “I was wondering about those notes… Jungkook told me you were the ones who wrote them?” “Oh…” she widened her eyes for a split second, bewildered by your question. You intently watched her change her expression, a feeling of betrayal stabbing your chest as you narrowed your eyes at her. “Yeah. I wrote them. I’m glad he finally noticed my feelings,” she firmly replied, giving you a confident yet hesitant smile. “Ah, are you sure? How’d you know so much about him?” you pushed on forward, every part of you wanting to expose her for the liar she was. Come on, lie to me, right to my face, you thought to yourself. It took all the strength you could muster up not to run to Jungkook and expose her for who she was. You crossed your arms against your chest when she reached out to gently grab ahold of your wrist. “Y/N, why are you being like this? Did something bad happen today?” she worriedly asked, her hands trying to hold onto yours when you yanked it out of her hand. “Oh, don’t worry about me. Just answer my question–” “–Y/N! What in the world are you doing?!” You turned your head to spot sight of Jungkook striding his way towards you down the hallway. His brows furrowed and a frown was present on his face, so you guessed he probably interpreted your stance as an aggressive one. “I’m just asking Yuri about the letters. It’s not what you’re thinking–” “–you were practically interrogating me!” she exclaimed, a hurt expression plastered all over her face. “Oh, I was interrogating you?” you scoffed, your jaw hung wide open in disbelief. “That’s it, Y/N, come with me,” he grabbed your wrist and dragged you away from Yuri and down into the empty hallway. Jungkook roughly pushed you forward and leaned his body against the wall, his eyes narrowing at you in frustration. “Okay, what’s going on with you today?” “I told you, nothing!” you nearly yelled out, your voice louder than you wanted it to be. “Well something’s obviously off, because you wouldn’t be as ticked as you are now if it weren’t. Why are you being so mean to Yuri?” he crossed his arms against his chest. “I wasn’t being mean to her!” you exasperated, knitting your brows in frustration. “Y/N, I saw you slapping her hand away!” he widened his eyes at you seeing how you were lying in front of his face. “You walked in at the wrong time,” you simply replied. “I don’t like Yuri. And I don’t approve of you and her.” “Why? Are you jealous or something?” “Me? Jealous?” you scoffed, laughing out in disbelief. You might have been jealous for another reason, but how could he say it so bluntly? As though it was something to be ashamed of? As though you were disapproving his relationship out of spite? “Don’t think so highly of yourself.” “Well, then why don’t you approve of her?” he spat. “She’s…” you hesitated to continue before taking a deep breath and sighing. “She’s not the person who wrote the letters.” “What? Then who is?” “I can’t say,” you looked down at the ground, avoiding his piercing gaze. “Alright, you’re impossible to talk to today. If you’re going to say something as ridiculous as that, at least go through with it. Tell me when you’re ready to really talk,” he scoffed, turning his back on you and walking down the hall. Was this your cue to clear up the misunderstandings? Maybe you should take Jimin’s advice and really start thinking about yourself for once. Every part of you was dying to tell Jungkook he was wrong for doubting you, for yelling at you, for falling in love with the wrong person. At the very least, you wanted him to acknowledge your feelings. You didn’t think you could survive years down the road, thinking what if you had told him the truth? Would things go differently if you had confessed? “Jeon Jungkook, if you take one more step, our friendship is over!” you yelled out at him. He paused, his entire body freezing at your words. Jungkook turned around with pain so evident in his eyes as he bit his lips and his brows winced at your words. It felt like your eyes gazed into his for hours, you swore you could’ve stayed there for an eternity. You didn’t want to think about what would happen down the road. You wanted to think about this very moment, the moment when you and Jungkook were still best friends. You took a deep breath and exhaled, shutting your eyes and blurting out your next few words. It was all or nothing. “I’m the one who wrote those letters.” And for the first time ever, Jungkook saw you for who you really were, he finally saw you as the best friend who had fallen so deeply for him. -J @namjoonxme@breholmes @NaughTAE @staceyholley @VeronicaArtino @ChelseaAustin @SaiT @Emealia @sarahdarwish @herreravanessa9 @DestinaByrd @AlloBaber @LaynicornLay @PrincessUnicorn @RihannaTiaMay @KatieRussell @SugalessJams @ILikeHisFace123 @heidichiesa @SugaOnTop @katiems @DesireeChucklez @jaebug @moonchild03 @terenailyn @xsandos17 @SugaKookieV @11erinmims @kpopandkimchi @JinsPrincess86 @Tigerlily84 @PrettieeEmm @byeolbit @ChelseaJay @KellyOConnor @poojas @VixenViVi @StephanieDuong @KDramaKPop1015 @MadAndrea @VIPforever123 @fallchild @solodaywithB1A4 @MorleeCorielus @JaxomB @ARMYStarlight @luna1171 @AgentLeo @Roxt1903 @amandamuska @GDsGF @amobts @sherrysahar @kpopdeluxegirl @CheyenneJesse @KaceyDodge @MyaIsNotSexy @Qilin94 @DeniseiaGardner @abiersack666 @Taehyungkey @BtsIsLife @Bitterlimelight @KpopQueenaBee @Rhia @Kieuseru @sherrysahar @VIPFreak2NE1 @yewookyu @Kyokeo @JohnEvans @taetaebaozi @RainaC3 @MonUnicorn @terenailyn @LilySilver @KpopGaby @heidichiesa @KeziahWright @Dabaesaplayer @ShimJooKyung @SamanthaRae19 @DawanaMason @destiny1419 @AlloBaber @SugalessJams @ninjamidori @PrettieeEmm @JadeOwens @Dabaesaplayer @Ercurrent @KwonOfAKind @JasminMartinez @torchix @jessicacheung97 @MandyNoona @jaykook @HarperKennett @DawanaMason @btsgotshinee @AdiaJasinski @shisuschrist @SugaMint @KokoroNoTakara @saraortiz2002 @tinathellama @wordlesseyes @ChelseaGarcia @externallyeli @imahurrucane @amberg171997 @ArmyofKookie @JordanShuler @SunshineChang @tazneemhinnawl @mrsjeon @NancyVongvilay @LexiMintkgtopty @kpopbunny9 @ManaiaPio @LizaNightshade @clstap1 @Defy24601 @Chocolat09 @KaiJae @Dalicity @BetseyBleau @IsoldaPazo @LinnyOk @AnnieGoodman @DasiaB @GossamoKewen95 @Vay754 @gigiandviking @deeeDUH @maddsanzen @kristendmh @Mogu @PolarStarr @resavalencia @zlklrn @SweetDuella @SNBlackRose @KiinLyr @hayoungforever @MRich @KarenGuerra93 @TracyLynnn @AlenaSegura @KierstinAndrews @Badtz @cagonzalez9696 @VickyLe @sugakookies95 @tayamay1232 @luvella18 @mahelysandoval@lexxcisco@alyssagelet818@vkookie47 @starbell808@cristinreynolds@bubblekookie@chace @mrsyookihyun@johnevans@eliseb@stefanitre @vatcheeafandi99@crystalguerra@xroyalresix@kiinlyr @emilypeacock@aliciazitting88@mitchix5@hopekookie @linnyok@isoldapazo@xxxtina@aimeeh@taliamay14 @sammie99522@kellyoconnor@msloyalheart@kyokeo @moonchild03@mrsjeon@sarahvandorn@bridgetjara @vay754@russelroche47 @jojojordy2324@kpopaddict415@sorryimanna@choijiah @greciaflores@resavalencia@heidichiesa@agentleo @chocolate09@aracelijimenez@shellyfuentes70@nikkitty @jazgaara33@zeerow@trollied@sarahdarwish @amberg171997@rina143@karenguerra93@sugamint @isismayavelasco@eswee@mrsjeon@taetaebaozi @sassymaknae@xxchicharitoxx@harukachiharu @jaeneashajones@milcalopez963@destiny1419 @tazneemhinnawi@crystalblunt@karinajune1017 @sophienguyen@kkaneki@lizanightshade@princessfoxfire @namjooniesbae@sophienguyen@lilithium @bambamisbae@pharmgirlerin@samantharamdath@dalicity @vickyle@wiampark@mrsdarkmiracle@ikpoper @hilmjungkook@xoxorittie@jinsprincess@rachelwoo2 @amandamuska@kookieandjin@krin@exoasf@takenbykpop @xoxojessica12@btsjungkook1997@elainarenea @jezzicrypt@bangsuju@annevictoriaaa@esmeraldagutirr @lovelikematoi@safamohamed@kaei@uniangel18 @kimnam94@embermoll@vipgirl5@melissagarza @elainarenea@yoongistan@aripendragon@sugakookiev @polarstarr@mrsdarkcircle@piercehorizon@everiemisfit @sweetduella@karenguerra93 @jazeemon@lashonda0917 @evilgenius@btsxexo@taetaeboazi@yessicacardenas @maricela17mrn@chace@kenyamendoza@minyoongii @BecaB@divanicola05@yoongiinfiresme@Eli20@tiffany1922 @senia @jiminakpop @hskswife @Josyy7 @army98 Let me know if you would like to be tagged
Just One Day: Finale
As you walked by the students in the hallway, everything felt like deja vu. Even with your eyes focused on the ground, you could tell that their eyes followed you wherever you went. They observed your every action, as though waiting to pounce once you make the smallest mistake. You didn’t need anyone to tell you, you already knew what had happened. You strolled into the classroom, ignoring the stares of your classmates as they whispered to each other and gave you dirty looks. As much as you wanted to run away, to hide and cry all alone, you knew that Jimin needed you. And this was the most you could give him, for now. You kept your eyes on the seat next to Jimin, loudly placing your backpack down too announce your arrival, to make sure that he knew you were there for him. Unsurprisingly, he kept his gaze on the desk, as if it was the most interesting thing in the world. He had been doing this the past few days, he looked like he was lifeless, like a machine forced to carry out the bare minimum to get through a day. You looked around the room, seeing everyone glaring at you two. Scanning through the room, you found her sitting at the front of the class, as she always did, happily chatting away with her friends. She acted as though nothing had happened between her and Jimin, as if he didn’t mean anything to him. Whether that was a front or not, you couldn’t care less, it would only further hurt Jimin, something that you couldn’t afford. Jimin was once again carving his nails into his wooden pencil, you could see the thin layer of yellow paint being scratched away and onto the desk. You could tell that he was writing something, or so you wanted to think. You wanted to believe that Jimin was just occupied with some task, any task, as long as he was focused on something other than the gossiping students. You felt the eyes of the classmates continuing their death glares by the way your cheeks flushed in embarrassment, the rush of blood running through your veins in anger. As much as you wanted to flee the scene, abandoning the affairs that you had never wanted to be a part of since the beginning, your heart ached for Jimin. You knew that as much as you were frustrated by Jimin’s rash decisions, you still wanted to be there by his side when no one else would. Like he did for you. You sighed loudly, preparing the most intimidating look you could and staring back at the crowd of students that had now gathered at the back right corner of the classroom, probably in a heated discussion over what had happened between the three of you. The minute their eyes met yours, they flinched back, surprised that you were finally fighting back. You couldn’t help but smirk and roll your eyes at their idiocy, turning away and sliding onto the stool. Pointing your forefinger out, you gently poked Jimin’s tummy, sending flashbacks through your mind as you remembered the distant days when you would have tickle fights with him. “Yah!” Jimin yelped in reflex, jumping in his seat and immediately diverting his attention from the pencil to you. “What’re you doing Y/N?” His eyes widened at the sight of you attempting to make conversation with him for the first time since forever. You cocked your head to the side, “what do you mean?” Jimin’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion, he dropped his pencil out of his hands, as you watched it slowly roll towards the end of the table. You knew it was just a pencil, but you couldn’t help but feel as though you had to prevent its downfall, like it was as precious to you as Jimin. Before it could fall, you reached over and grabbed the pencil. “You haven’t been talking to me for a week, Y/N. I’m sure you know exactly what I mean…” Jimin slightly shook his head to the side. His eyes narrowed at you, unsure of your intentions and what you had up your sleeves. “Do you want me to leave you alone? For you to fend off all the horrifying gossips and terrifying students? By yourself? I’m not going to leave you alone, at least not now…” Jimin winced towards the end of your statement, his hand flinched as he clutched tightly onto the pencil when you returned it to him. Out of the blue, he went right to business, looking at you straight in the eyes, “I broke up with her.” You couldn’t believe what you were hearing, you could feel the anger within you rise, waiting for the best time to explode. “You… what? I thought I told you not to!” You nearly yelled aloud, but immediately lowered your voice before anyone could hear. “Yeah. And I don’t care, it’s my feelings, I can do what I want with it.” “I didn’t think that you would actually do it! Is this why everyone is hating on you? I thought it was because you told her about your… your feelings, not because you broke up with her!” you smacked his chest, but he barely budged. “No, I did what my heart told me to do,” Jimin simply and clearly stated, his eyes seemed to be lost in yours, forever gazing into the deepest depths of your soul, looking for an answer. When you continued to gape at him, your jaw wide open in shock, he continued, “look, it wasn’t easy for me, Y/N. I have morals too, I know what I was doing was wrong. But I just didn’t love her anymore, I don’t even know if I ever loved her-” “-you did. You did, Jimin,” you interrupted him, to bring him back to reality. He was clouded with illusions, in denial over his change of heart. You had to remind him of the truth, the fact that he was once in love with a girl, a girl that wasn’t you. “Okay, even if I did, I don’t anymore. I haven’t in awhile. I just didn’t realize that the one I truly loved was the one that stuck by my side all this time, the one that I unknowingly tortured all this time…” You rolled your eyes and clenched your hands into fists in frustration, “for the last time… Park Jimin, you never loved me. As one of closest friends, I just feel obligated to remind you of the truth… Stop pitying me, and get your head straight. You loved her, not me. You kissed her, not me. You dated her, so quit telling yourself otherwise!” At this point, Jimin was sighing loudly and his breathing quickened, you could see the constant rise of his chest. Without breaking eye contact, he reached for his pencil pouch, dumping all of his staples onto the desk, “you want proof?” Your eyebrows knotted in confusion, what in the world was he doing? As each pencil dropped towards the table, you felt a slight pierce in your heart, the sound of the pencils hitting the tabletop made you cringe. You looked over all the spilled pencils, seeing carvings on each one of them. Jimin’s small hands grabbed a bunch of pencils, as you looked back at him and raised your eyebrows, questioning his actions. “Do you see what’s on this?” To your shock, you found your name messily carved into the wood. You could tell that it was Jimin who had written them, no one but him could write in such illegible font. Seeing that you were silent, Jimin tightened his grip around the pencils, “I’ve been writing your name, on anything, pencils, papers, tables, everything, you haven’t left my mind since forever. I don’t know what to do, I feel like I’m going to explode if I don’t do what my heart tells me. I can’t stand seeing you alone, watching me love someone else, my heart just can’t stand it…” “It’s just how life works, Jimin, we don’t get everything we want…” you muttered, unsuccessfully trying to comfort him. “I know. I know, and that’s why you’re not mine. That’s why we still aren’t accepting our feelings for each other, it’s why we’re still not together. I-I,” Jimin’s voice was breaking down, as he stumbled over his words and his sobs interrupted him. “I just… can’t you accept my feelings for you? After all my pain and confusion, can’t you just acknowledge my affection?” Tears were flowing out of his eyes, your heart ached over his pitiful yet painfully true words. Hesitantly, you reached your hands over to gently wipe his cheeks. The second your hands made contact with his cheeks, his hand reached up and grabbed yours, securely taking yours in his. You yelped in surprise when he dragged you away from the table, running past the group of students that seemed immersed in their usual gossip, too busy to watch you and Jimin. You didn’t know where he was taking you, but you had no complaints. You had waited for this moment so long, you had put your feelings and desires away for so long, you just couldn’t wait any longer. You ran along with Jimin, hand in hand, passing through the endless streets. It seemed like you two had been running for forever, when he finally stopped in front of your house. He turned towards you, huffing and puffing from the sprint. Your lungs struggled to keep up with the pace that your heart was pumping blood throughout your system. Both of you bet over and put your hands on your knees, trying to catch your breath. “H-here is where I… I first felt something for, for you…” Jimin managed to declare in the midst of all of his panting. He pointed at the spot you two were standing now, but you couldn’t remember what he was talking about. “Don’t remember? I figured…” Jimin laughed throughout all of his hard breathing, “It was at the most random time, it’s crazy how I still remember the exact moment I felt sparks. I was walking you home when you suddenly smiled, you smiled so radiantly… I remember feeling like you were as bright as the sun, I remember that at that very moment,” Jimin took a moment to take a deep breath. “I fell in love with my best friend, the one who silently stayed by my side through it all,” he sweetly smiled as he ran his hand through his hair, tilting his head to the side as if waiting for a response. “What?” you couldn’t help but laugh at the absurd moment, at the nonsense that was spilling out of his mouth. Both of you erupted in laughter, like the old times. Before you could reply, Jimin took your hands into his, intertwining his fingers with yours like the way you had always wanted him to. Your eyes gazed at his small hands that so perfectly fit yours, every curve and every indent, you knew that it was meant to be. “It’s silly, but I’ve come to realize that I’ve fallen for the stupidest and quirkiest things that you do… the way you tie your hair in a messy bun, the way you smile and look away when your eyes meet mine, the way you blush whenever my hands brush yours. How you look when you’re at your lowest, when you need me the most, when you wear just your pajamas, or how you ramble about the dumbest things in the world… everything,” Jimin’s smiled from ear to ear, his eyes formed the thinnest lines that it nearly disappeared. He smile was so radiant and bright, you thought that he resembled the sun. It was as though after saying all of his inner thoughts aloud, Jimin had brushed the burden off his shoulders, happy that you were acknowledging his feelings for once. “I mean, I don’t know what to say,” you laughed, shrugging your shoulders, when Jimin suddenly brought your connected hands to brush your cheeks against the back of his hands. “You don’t have to say anything. I don’t need an answer now, just know that I’ll be waiting for you.” “This… this isn’t right, Jimin. You know how much I love you. I just don’t want people to think bad of you, I don’t want you to do something wrong…” you mumbled in disappointment, looking down at the ground. With your hands still in his, Jimin brought his hands to the bottom of your chin, tilting it up so that you were now looking into his eyes. “It was wrong of me not to realize my feelings earlier, Y/N,” he whispered, each and every word hanging in the air. “Just one day, Y/N, can we just be together for just one day? Can I love you to my heart’s content for just today? Can I show you just how much I love you, just how much I have always loved you?” He gently smiled, one side of his lips slightly higher than the other, his eyes forming flawless arcs. You couldn’t help but laugh at his words, even though he didn’t say it, you could already feel all the love and thought he had poured into these words, into this very moment. “Alright… just one day.” For today, you would allow Jimin to love you, you would allow yourself to love him. Just today, you told yourself repeatedly. Jimin smiled in content, taking a step to completely closing the distance between the two of you. He rested his chin on your head, burying his face into your hair and inhaling the familiar scent of you. Leaning backwards, he gave you one last reassuring smile, his white teeth shined, perfectly pairing with his blinding, beautiful expression. Closing his eyes, once again, he closed the distance between you two until his lips met your forehead. Your heart was beating so fast, you could feel Jimin’s heartbeat against your chest, as it synced up with yours. You squeezed his hands when you felt butterflies fluttering in your stomach, trusting that he was feeling the exact same magical feeling. You felt his plump, soft lips part against your skin, as he mumbled sweet nothings for just you to hear. @namjoonxme@breholmes @NaughTAE @staceyholley @VeronicaArtino @ChelseaAustin @SaiT @Emealia @sarahdarwish @herreravanessa9 @DestinaByrd @AlloBaber @LaynicornLay @PrincessUnicorn @RihannaTiaMay @KatieRussell @SugalessJams @ILikeHisFace123 @heidichiesa @SugaOnTop @katiems @DesireeChucklez @jaebug @moonchild03 @terenailyn @xsandos17 @SugaKookieV @11erinmims @kpopandkimchi @JinsPrincess86 @Tigerlily84 @PrettieeEmm @byeolbit @ChelseaJay @KellyOConnor @poojas @VixenViVi @StephanieDuong @KDramaKPop1015 @MadAndrea @VIPforever123 @fallchild @solodaywithB1A4 @SimplyAwkward @MorleeCorielus @JaxomB @ARMYStarlight @luna1171 @AgentLeo @Roxt1903 @amandamuska @GDsGF @amobts @sherrysahar @kpopdeluxegirl @CheyenneJesse @KaceyDodge @MyaIsNotSexy @Qilin94 @DeniseiaGardner @abiersack666 @Taehyungkey @BtsIsLife @Bitterlimelight @KpopQueenaBee @Rhia @Kieuseru @sherrysahar @VIPFreak2NE1 @yewookyu @Kyokeo @JohnEvans @taetaebaozi @RainaC3 @MonUnicorn @terenailyn @LilySilver @KpopGaby @heidichiesa @KeziahWright @Dabaesaplayer @ShimJooKyung @SamanthaRae19 @DawanaMason @destiny1419 @AlloBaber @SugalessJams @ninjamidori @PrettieeEmm @JadeOwens @Helixx @Dabaesaplayer @Ercurrent @KwonOfAKind @JasminMartinez @torchix @jessicacheung97 @MandyNoona @jaykook @HarperKennett @DawanaMason @btsgotshinee @AdiaJasinski @shisuschrist @SugaMint @KokoroNoTakara @saraortiz2002 @tinathellama @wordlesseyes @ChelseaGarcia @externallyeli @imahurrucane @amberg171997 @ArmyofKookie @JordanShuler @SunshineChang @tazneemhinnawl @mrsjeon @NancyVongvilay @LexiMintkgtopty @kpopbunny9 @ManaiaPio @LizaNightshade @clstap1 @Defy24601 @Chocolat09 @KaiJae @Dalicity @BetseyBleau @IsoldaPazo @LinnyOk @AnnieGoodman @DasiaB @GossamoKewen95 @Vay754 @gigiandviking @deeeDUH @maddsanzen @kristendmh @Mogu @PolarStarr @resavalencia @zlklrn @SweetDuella @SNBlackRose @KiinLyr @hayoungforever @MRich @KarenGuerra93 @TracyLynnn @AlenaSegura @KierstinAndrews @Badtz @cagonzalez9696 @VickyLe @sugakookies95 @tayamay1232 @luvella18 @mahelysandoval@lexxcisco@alyssagelet818@vkookie47 @starbell808@cristinreynolds@bubblekookie@chace @mrsyookihyun@johnevans@eliseb@stefanitre @vatcheeafandi99@crystalguerra@xroyalresix@kiinlyr @emilypeacock@aliciazitting88@mitchix5@hopekookie @linnyok@isoldapazo@xxxtina@aimeeh@taliamay14 @sammie99522@kellyoconnor@msloyalheart@kyokeo @moonchild03@mrsjeon@sarahvandorn@bridgetjara @vay754@russelroche47 @jojojordy2324@kpopaddict415@sorryimanna@choijiah @greciaflores@resavalencia@heidichiesa@agentleo @chocolate09@aracelijimenez@shellyfuentes70@nikkitty @jazgaara33@zeerow@trollied@sarahdarwish @amberg171997@rina143@karenguerra93@sugamint @isismayavelasco@eswee@mrsjeon@taetaebaozi @sassymaknae@xxchicharitoxx@harukachiharu @jaeneashajones@milcalopez963@destiny1419 @tazneemhinnawi@crystalblunt@karinajune1017 @sophienguyen@kkaneki@lizanightshade@princessfoxfire @namjooniesbae@sophienguyen@lilithium@simplyawkward @bambamisbae@pharmgirlerin@samantharamdath@dalicity @vickyle@wiampark@mrsdarkmiracle@ikpoper @hilmjungkook@xoxorittie@jinsprincess@rachelwoo2 @amandamuska@kookieandjin@krin@exoasf@takenbykpop @xoxojessica12@btsjungkook1997@elainarenea @jezzicrypt@bangsuju@annevictoriaaa@esmeraldagutirr @lovelikematoi@safamohamed@kaei@uniangel18 @kimnam94@embermoll@vipgirl5@melissagarza @elainarenea@yoongistan@aripendragon@sugakookiev @polarstarr@mrsdarkcircle@piercehorizon@everiemisfit @sweetduella@karenguerra93 @jazeemon@lashonda0917 @evilgenius@btsxexo@taetaeboazi@yessicacardenas @maricela17mrn@chace@kenyamendoza@minyoongii @BecaB@divanicola05@yoongiinfiresme@Eli20@tiffany1922 @senia @jiminakpop @hskswife @Josyy7 @army98
Just One Day: Pt. 4
Walking through the hallways, the silence struck you as odd, in comparison to the usual rowdy, cheerful classroom, today’s atmosphere was much more tense. You strolled into the classroom, everyone was in their seats, with five minutes left on the clock until class started. Everyone was whispering to each other, glancing every once in awhile at Jimin and her. You glanced at Jimin, but he kept his eyes on the whiteboard at the front of the class, refusing to move even when you sat down next to him. It has been two weeks since you last talked to him, he ignored you just like you wanted him to, it was as if you didn’t even exist anymore. Throughout class he would either be staring emptily at the blank paper in front of him, carving his nails into his wooden pencil, or he’d be looking off into space. It didn’t seem like he was getting enough sleep, and you weren’t either, but you didn’t dare to ask him in fear of reigniting the sparks you felt for him. But you still felt them, the longer you sat next to him, the more you wanted to hold him in your arms and tell him everything was going to be okay, when all you could tell yourself was that nothing would be okay now. You weren’t sure of the details, but based off of the chitter chatter of your classmates, you could tell that something was off between Jimin and her. Maybe they were in a fight, maybe Jimin mentioned you. You couldn’t help but feel guilty, convincing yourself that you must have been the cause of their relationship falling apart, but you told yourself that the more you connected yourself to Jimin’s affairs, the more you would believe you meant something to him. And you couldn’t afford believing such a false assumption. Like you had told yourself countless times before, you silently watched over Jimin, imagining what it would feel like to be her. Being in the same class, you inevitably had to hear and see them everywhere, it was as though the heavens was condemning you to eternal torture. You would be forced to listen to their intermingled laughs, and even though they laughed over the dumbest things, you couldn’t help but smile bitterly at the sound of Jimin’s giggles. You would rest your head on the surface of the desk, closing your eyes and imagining that you were the one laughing along with him, something that would only happen in your dreams. It was the only thing that kept you sane. The day passed by quickly, seeing that it was the carbon copy of yesterday. Every day these past weeks had been the exact same, arrive at school, pretend that there was a wall between you and Jimin, silently watch Jimin walking off with her, feeling abandoned and discarded, rinse and repeat. Jimin was the one who motivated you throughout class. There was no longer the sun that provided you endless energy, all you could see now were dark, grey clouds looming over the once bright, beautiful sky. The bell rang, signalling the end of class, as you picked up your backpack from the ground and started to pack up. You could hear Jimin silently sitting there, with all of his belongings packed up and ready to go, yet he sat there motionlessly. In the corner of your eye, you could see his girlfriend walking out of the class, passing Jimin as though he was a ghost. But Jimin seemed too occupied with his thoughts to notice, he was looking at the desk that you two shared. You bit your lip, succumbing to your desires and glancing at him only to see him standing there with his backpack hanging over his shoulders and on his back. You bit harder into your lip, keeping yourself from saying anything to him, you knew that it would only make things harder. This was the hardest part of a fall out, getting over the temptation to reconcile was the worst, you reminded yourself. Jimin looked as though all the life inside of him was sucked out, he was as pale as ever, his eye bags were more apparent than usual. You two sat there for a good two minutes, it was impossible for either one of you to deny the presence of the other. It was as though you were silently cheering him on as Jimin mentally acknowledged your cheers. All it took was a small gesture to confirm it all, you tried to convince yourself. Just something small, anything really, would be enough to cheer the both of you on. You took a deep breath and sighed, hesitantly reaching your hand out to his shoulder, gently patting him as you got up to leave. Trying to swiftly bring your hand back to your side, out of the blue, you felt Jimin’s hand on yours. He gently grabbed your wrist, pulling you around to face him. The first thing your eyes landed upon was his eyes, and it felt like your heart stopped for a minute. For the first time in weeks, you were looking into the eyes that you loved, and still love, so much. The eyes that you could look into for hours, lost in its eternal beauty. He looked solemnly into your eyes, the plump lips of his were chapped and a pale pink shade. There was no way he was taking care of himself, you observed, your heart sinking at the thought of his carelessness. “We need to talk,” Jimin mumbled, his lips barely parting as he did so. You sighed, and reminded yourself that you could do this, that it was just one more time you had to push your love away, to push your own emotions away. “No, we don’t,” you yanked your hand back and dashed out of the room, feeling the tears making its appearance. You used the back of your hands to wipe your cheeks dry as you bolted out of the school and onto the streets. You could hear the loud footsteps of Jimin’s, as he called out to you, begging you to stop like the first day you had proposed to end the double edged friendship. You knew it was impossible to outrun him, he had always been faster than you. You felt your legs giving up, slowing down in the middle of the road, in the middle of nowhere, resembling how lost your relationship with Jimin was. Not too far in the distance, you could hear Jimin catching up to you, his panting syncing up with yours. Giving up, your arms dropped to your sides, as you turned yourself around so that you were now facing the boy of your dreams head on. Jimin stopped in the midst of his tracks the second his eyes met yours again, slowing his pace down, walking the rest of the distance between the two of you. “How many times do we have to go over this, Park Jimin?!” you shrilled out in frustration, the tears that you had kept inside of you finally made its grand appearance, slipping onto your cheeks. “As many times as it takes to fix our friendship,” Jimin determinedly announced, his voice calm and soft, unlike yours. “It’s only going to hurt more, the more we do this,” you pointed your finger at him and yourself before continuing, “it might not hurt for you… but it pains me a whole lot.” Jimin sighed out loudly, ruffling his hair, but never taking his eyes off of yours. Seeing that he kept silent, as though waiting for something more, you decided to continue. “Ignoring you in class, avoiding your eyes, not being able to touch you, to talk to you, to laugh with you, not even being able to say that you’re my friend… i-it hurts,” your voice broke into sobs, unable to finish your sentence. Your eyes were filled with tears, blurring your vision, but you could still see Jimin as clearly as you always could. His eyes softened and he pressed his lips into a line, he looked to the ground for a split second before returning his eyes to yours, “and I feel the same way.” Your eyes widened in shock, you could practically feel your heart painfully beating against your chest, each pump sending waves of tingles across your veins. You couldn’t believe what you were hearing, you weren’t the only one hurting these past weeks? Was he hurting just like you? This couldn’t be happening, this was the last thing you wanted. This was cheating, this was forbidden, this was everything you didn’t want Jimin to be doing. “Remember that time you told me how you knew you liked me?” Jimin paused for a second, “well, I realized that I felt the same way-” “-no, you feel that way with her, not me. Think clearly, Jimin! Don’t just say such absurd things because you pity me-” “-I don’t pity you, Y/N! You think it’s easy for me to come out like this?! You think I want to be called a cheater?! I thought about it every day, every night, every second these past few weeks!” Jimin yelled back at you, it was the first time you had seen him so confused. His eyebrows were knotted in frustration. “That’s exactly why I wanted to cut off our relationship!” you raised your voice to match his, spilling out the thoughts you held in for so long, “I was afraid because something like this would happen! I don’t want you to like me, Jimin!” “But it’s too late! It’s not my fault that I feel like this, it’s not like I wanted to fall for someone else while in a relationship!” “You can’t do this Jimin! You can’t like me, you have to stay with her! Just leave me now, go back to her! You’re just feeling guilty for leaving your best friend, but you shouldn’t! Don’t confuse guilt with love, Jimin! Don’t…” your sobs interrupted your train of thought, everything was crumbling down, your plan, your determination. “I’m not going back Y/N! I know for a fact that I like you-” “-but don’t you also love her?” Silence ensued, the frustrated expression was now replaced with a blank one, Jimin looked at you as though this was the question he had pondered over for so long. “…not anymore,” he said under his breath, barely audible through the pouring rain that now drenched both of you in dripping, freezing water. “What?” your eyebrows furrowed, you scoffed in disbelief over everything that was happening, “stop spilling out nonsense, Jimin…. you love her…” “No, I realized that the one I really love all this time, is you.” “So what’re you going to do about it? You’re going to tell her that you love me, or better yet, are you going to cheat on her?” you laughed at the absurdity, raising your eyebrows at him, expecting some answer. “I’m going to break up with her,” Jimin nearly whispered, you could see tears forming in his eyes now, threatening to spill in any second now. “What?” you muttered, barely able to understand what he was saying. “I’m breaking up with her. It’s unfair of me to keep her in a relationship when my heart belongs to someone else.” “STOP IT JIMIN! YOU’RE JUST CONFUSED, YOU’RE MAKING THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF YOUR LIFE RIGHT NOW! GO HOLD HER BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!” you tried to reason with him, screaming at the top of your lungs as the rain continued to pour down on you. Your clothes were drenched with rain, your hands were freezing to the point that you could no longer feel them, but you were numb to everything. The only thing that mattered to you right now was the well being of Jimin. “OUR RELATIONSHIP HAS ALREADY BEEN GOING DOWNHILL MONTHS AGO Y/N! It has nothing to do with you, stop thinking that everything is about you!” Jimin raised his voice to level out with yours. You stared at him, your mouth slightly open, but you were unable to form any words. You didn’t know what to say. The worst situation you had been trying to prevent, the situation that you had gone through so much pain to prevent, was happening right this moment. You didn’t want Jimin to be unfaithful, you didn’t want him to ruin his relationship for you. “I’m breaking up with her, whether or not you want me to…” Jimin whispered, all the energy in him drained out, “just wait for me, Y/N….” Just one more part to go @namjoonxme@breholmes @NaughTAE @staceyholley @VeronicaArtino @ChelseaAustin @SaiT @Emealia @sarahdarwish @herreravanessa9 @DestinaByrd @AlloBaber @LaynicornLay @PrincessUnicorn @RihannaTiaMay @KatieRussell @SugalessJams @ILikeHisFace123 @heidichiesa @SugaOnTop @katiems @DesireeChucklez @jaebug @moonchild03 @terenailyn @xsandos17 @SugaKookieV @11erinmims @kpopandkimchi @JinsPrincess86 @Tigerlily84 @PrettieeEmm @byeolbit @ChelseaJay @KellyOConnor @poojas @VixenViVi @StephanieDuong @KDramaKPop1015 @MadAndrea @VIPforever123 @fallchild @solodaywithB1A4 @SimplyAwkward @MorleeCorielus @JaxomB @ARMYStarlight @luna1171 @AgentLeo @Roxt1903 @amandamuska @GDsGF @amobts @sherrysahar @kpopdeluxegirl @CheyenneJesse @KaceyDodge @MyaIsNotSexy @Qilin94 @DeniseiaGardner @abiersack666 @Taehyungkey @BtsIsLife @Bitterlimelight @KpopQueenaBee @Rhia @Kieuseru @sherrysahar @VIPFreak2NE1 @yewookyu @Kyokeo @JohnEvans @taetaebaozi @RainaC3 @MonUnicorn @terenailyn @LilySilver @KpopGaby @heidichiesa @KeziahWright @Dabaesaplayer @ShimJooKyung @SamanthaRae19 @DawanaMason @destiny1419 @AlloBaber @SugalessJams @ninjamidori @PrettieeEmm @JadeOwens @Helixx @Dabaesaplayer @Ercurrent @KwonOfAKind @JasminMartinez @torchix @jessicacheung97 @MandyNoona @jaykook @HarperKennett @DawanaMason @btsgotshinee @AdiaJasinski @shisuschrist @SugaMint @KokoroNoTakara @saraortiz2002 @tinathellama @wordlesseyes @ChelseaGarcia @externallyeli @imahurrucane @amberg171997 @ArmyofKookie @JordanShuler @SunshineChang @tazneemhinnawl @mrsjeon @NancyVongvilay @LexiMintkgtopty @kpopbunny9 @ManaiaPio @LizaNightshade @clstap1 @Defy24601 @Chocolat09 @KaiJae @Dalicity @BetseyBleau @IsoldaPazo @LinnyOk @AnnieGoodman @DasiaB @GossamoKewen95 @Vay754 @gigiandviking @deeeDUH @maddsanzen @kristendmh @Mogu @PolarStarr @resavalencia @zlklrn @SweetDuella @SNBlackRose @KiinLyr @hayoungforever @MRich @KarenGuerra93 @TracyLynnn @AlenaSegura @KierstinAndrews @Badtz @cagonzalez9696 @VickyLe @sugakookies95 @tayamay1232 @luvella18 @mahelysandoval@lexxcisco@alyssagelet818@vkookie47 @starbell808@cristinreynolds@bubblekookie@chace @mrsyookihyun@johnevans@eliseb@stefanitre @vatcheeafandi99@crystalguerra@xroyalresix@kiinlyr @emilypeacock@aliciazitting88@mitchix5@hopekookie @linnyok@isoldapazo@xxxtina@aimeeh@taliamay14 @sammie99522@kellyoconnor@msloyalheart@kyokeo @moonchild03@mrsjeon@sarahvandorn@bridgetjara @vay754@russelroche47 @jojojordy2324@kpopaddict415@sorryimanna@choijiah @greciaflores@resavalencia@heidichiesa@agentleo @chocolate09@aracelijimenez@shellyfuentes70@nikkitty @jazgaara33@zeerow@trollied@sarahdarwish @amberg171997@rina143@karenguerra93@sugamint @isismayavelasco@eswee@mrsjeon@taetaebaozi @sassymaknae@xxchicharitoxx@harukachiharu @jaeneashajones@milcalopez963@destiny1419 @tazneemhinnawi@crystalblunt@karinajune1017 @sophienguyen@kkaneki@lizanightshade@princessfoxfire @namjooniesbae@sophienguyen@lilithium@simplyawkward @bambamisbae@pharmgirlerin@samantharamdath@dalicity @vickyle@wiampark@mrsdarkmiracle@ikpoper @hilmjungkook@xoxorittie@jinsprincess@rachelwoo2 @amandamuska@kookieandjin@krin@exoasf@takenbykpop @xoxojessica12@btsjungkook1997@elainarenea @jezzicrypt@bangsuju@annevictoriaaa@esmeraldagutirr @lovelikematoi@safamohamed@kaei@uniangel18 @kimnam94@embermoll@vipgirl5@melissagarza @elainarenea@yoongistan@aripendragon@sugakookiev @polarstarr@mrsdarkcircle@piercehorizon@everiemisfit @sweetduella@karenguerra93 @jazeemon@lashonda0917 @evilgenius@btsxexo@taetaeboazi@yessicacardenas @maricela17mrn@chace@kenyamendoza@minyoongii @BecaB@divanicola05@yoongiinfiresme@Eli20@tiffany1922 @stefanitre @vixxstarlight1 @senia @jiminakpop @hskswife
