ANTI-THEFT LUNCH BAGS

Smart idea! Sandwich bags that have green fungus printed on both sides. Moldy sandwiches that people wouldn’t want to steal haha. and did you know that you can actually buy these? ( you can get it over here: http://www.perpetualkid.com/anti-theft-lunch-bags.aspx) I read over the reviews. I thought that it would be used only at schools but realized that a lot of people working at offices actually buy ‘em. One of the review saids that some co-workers steal food out of the community fridges and after putting sandwich in anti-theft lunch bags, those co-workers actually thought that they were moldy and stopped stealing food out of the fridge! :)

Simple, minimal Package Designs that I love!

Number 1, 2, 3image above, is a package design for cheap 'value' range food you can get at any markets. (This one particularly is from Morrisons). A lot of people might think that cheap foods will have labels that are very ugly to match the budget of the ingredients. But you're wrong. Very simple one color hand drawn images grabs your attention. Image 4,5 is my FAVORITE. Sainsbury took their product very vintage, and its very minimal. The chocolate package design has brown circles representing chocolate buttons that's spread out. Cornflakes packaging is more minimal. orange dots represents the cornflakes. I also like the Nutella package design.

Fish Package Design by PostlerFerguson

"If carrying a wet papery packet home puts you off fresh fish from the counter at your local supermarket, London designers PostlerFerguson have designed a series of sleek sleeves to promote the less endangered types. “Supermarkets are expanding their fresh fish offerings to include more sustainable species like gurnard, mackerel and skate. These fish are cheaper and just as tasty, but customers often shy away from them because they are unfamiliar and occasionally just plain ugly,” says Martin Postler. This fish packaging proposal will help put these fish back on equal standing with their more recognised brethren by placing them in an attractive and highly recognizable packaging solution. The packages are intended for use at fresh fish counters. Constructed from a double layered polyethylene, they are airtight, resealable and can be filled with ice for transport to keep your fish fresh until it hits the pan!" - I love PostlerFerguson's package design for this. package is made from layers of polyethylene. What's amazing about this is that they are resealable, airtight and can be topped up with ice to keep everything fresh until you’re ready to cook it.

The fountain of youth (Coconut Water) - by: The Michelberger Hotel.

This is a very cute package design for coconut water. Smart idea to attract consumers, especially for people who collect cans. Need to buy all three to finish the monkey! "The brand is based around the character of a superhero Monkey (the story of which you can read on the accompanying website michelbergermonkey.com), and he is featured on the can, wrapped around it. When 3 cans are placed together, you see the whole image of the monkey which increases shelf presence of the drink. We used a can with a rippled design to echo the sea which is used as a story theme and design element in the website artwork. The packaging was designed by Azar Kazimir, Creative Director for the the Michelberger Hotel. There is a design studio inside the hotel as part of the business. The studio does all the design work for the hotel and for its many other projects."

Love the simplicity, following the new flat design trend probably. seeing a lot of this kind of design on weather apps. bold colors with only type. Different font weights really helps out the design. "Coloweather is a simple weather app, displaying weather info regarding chosen place. It gives you a temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit scale. Aside from a temperature for today, Coloweather satisfies your needs to check out the air humidity, wind strength and forecast for tomorrow."
