Famous Faces Telling You To DO SOMETHING
This capitalizes on success. Alexander Wang, one of the most famous fashion designers in the world, is finally celebrating his 10th year of astronomical success. Every celebrity on the planet is desperate to wear his masterpieces and with each and every piece of clothing he creates, he promotes the art of high end fashion. To celebrate his 10 years, he has taken on an impressive collaboration with the DoSomething organization recruiting A-list celebrities from all over the world. American royalty aka Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were the first to jump on the project. Kim took on a very typical dress that hugs her curves in all the right places while Kanye took his tradition sweatshirt and baggy jeans look. Each celebrity has their own style and pose that has a slight suggestion of sexiness. This is a wonderful organization to support and it's been a wonderful experience for the celebrities to give back. The target audience is teenagers and fellow young people to help a cause on their own which is something really special. I love this campaign already! Wang, now 31-years-old, has finally grown into his style after years of trial and error. "I went through many different phases as a kid," Wang recently shared with Paper magazine. "I was a raver. I was hip-hop... And I went to boarding school for a while, where my look was a weird hybrid of preppy meets grunge: layered polo shirts with lots of ripped jeans." Today, Wang's designs emulate ultimate opulence and class. They are elegant with just the right amount of awe inspired customization depending on the celebrity. A-listers have been vying to wear Wang at the top red carpet events for the last decade and his success is set to grow even farther. Unlike many other designers in the fashion world, it seems Wang genuinely tries to form long lasting friendships with his clients which is one reason why wearing his designs makes it that much more desirable. So what is DoSomething.org? Taken from their website : "DoSomething.org makes the world suck less. One of the largest global orgs for young people and social change, our 4 million members tackle campaigns that impact every cause, from poverty to violence to the environment to literally everything else. Any cause, anytime, anywhere. *mic drop" Wanna help out? Go here : https://www.dosomething.org/about/who-we-are Do you think it's necessary for charities to pair up with famous celebrities?
"B*tch I'm Madonna"
"Who do YOU think you are!?" Madonna is back with another provocative song but this time she's going after Taylor Swift. The 56-year-old legend is pulling all the stops creating her own 'Bad Blood' type of video. She's recruited the top names in the industry : Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Rita Ora, Chris Rock, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Alexander Wang, Diplo, David Banda, and Kanye to make cameos in the video. Minaj saves the song a bit with her incredible rap. Anyways, that's quite the line up. Better than Taylor Swift's? Here's the cameos... This was the Instagram pic that caused an uproar on social media pointing fingers at Madonna saying she copied Taylor Swift's 'Bad Blood'. However, imitation is the nicest form of flattery. But really though... It's exactly the same. Pathetic. Here's some more publicity pictures Madonna posted to hype the music video up. The music video debuted on a music sharing service called Tidal. Tidal had a 24 hour advantage as it was the only music service to have the music video posted. Today, VEVO gained the rights to the music video so now most of the public can see the video without having to subscribe and pay for the service. More BAD BLOOD? Here's the music video. Slightly catchy once you listen to it for a few minutes. Overall though it was a crappy attempt to rip on Tswift and it was a bizarre video. Madonna is now too old to be a pop star but she's holding on for dear life. Kinda sad. I guess she's still young at heart. I wonder if Madonna will do well with this song...
