Friends Reunion CONFIRMED
It's not what you think.
Yes, all 6 characters are making an appearance but unfortunately, it's not for a new episode of the beloved show, Friends. Instead, Monica, Chandler, Joey, Rachel, Ross, and Phoebe will all be showing up for a 2-hour special to honor comedy director, James Burrows who recently directed his 1,000th TV episode. Friends and Burrows have worked together in the past - 15 Friends episodes were under his direction.
However Friends is not the only headliner. 90s casts from hit shows like Taxi, Cheers, Frasier, and Will Grace will be in attendance. Also, more recently, shows like The Big Bang Theory and Mike Molly will be joining as well.
As for reuniting the cast of Friends, NBC's chair of entertainment Bob Greenblatt is hoping it can be pulled together.
"I'm hoping all six of them will be all in the same room at the same time, but I'm not sure if we can logistically pull that off," he noted at the Television Critics Association Press Tour on Wednesday according to a source from E! News.
The special is set to take place on Sunday, February 21st, 2016 on NBC.
