Julio Caro graduated from Cornell University’s College of Arts & Sciences in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Arts and Philosophy.
Upon graduation, Julio Caro joined the training program of the Bank of Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company in New York City.
1982- 1985: Julio Caro was at Manufacturers Hanover.
1985: Julio Caro produced his first independent feature film titled STATIC starring Keith Gordon, Amanda Plummer, and Bob Gunton. The film was written and directed by Mark Romanek, a filmmaker Julio Caro met while attending Cornell.
1987: Julio Caro produced the film titled SIESTA, starring Ellen Barkin, Jodie Foster, Isabella Rossellini, and Gabriel Byrne. That film was shot on location in Spain and was released by Lorimar Motion Pictures (now a division of Warner Media).
1988- 1995: Julio Caro was involved in the music industry and artist management working with a number of recording artists. Julio Caro was the manager of the recording artists Safire, The Throbs, The Sea Hags, and Raw Youth. Julio Caro was a consultant to JDW Entertainment which had signed the recording artist, Mary J. Blige.
