Homemade Pear Soap
Before you think this is a mess you're not dealing with real pear. You'll be using pear fragrance oil and cocoa butter as a base for this summer scented soap. This soap is natural and is free of lyre! Thanks to Bulk Apothecary for the recipe!
Instructions:
1. Melt the cocoa butter and coconut oil in microwave. Make sure you stir in between short intervals.
2. Once melted stir in the mica powder to your desire color.
3. Add in the pear oil (1-2 drops or depending on how scented you want it to be).
4. Finally put the mixture in a mold and allow it to cool and harden.

Last week past by so fast! I can't believe tomorrow is Monday again. Since it's Earth Day this coming Wednesday I'll be adding some green theme in my dish. There was a major sale at Ralphs and Trader Joe's so I couldn't resist. As usual, hope everyone stay healthy and safe.

What to Do with Old Mascara Wand
Before tossing your mascara into the bin, find out what you can do with an old mascara wand. I learned the following tricks from A Thrifty Mrs, but I also included some of my own methods.
1. Use it to de-clump lashes.
Mascara are great but putting on two or three layers can make your lashes clump together. This leaves an unnatural effect. Use an old (and cleaned) mascara to soften it out.
2. Use it to groom your brows.
A spoolie is helpful tool when it comes to grooming and shaping your brows. If you don't have one yet, clean your old mascara wand and you use it as an eyebrow brush.
3. Use it to touch up greasy roots.
2 Ingredients for Naturally Plump Lips
Honestly, I've been seeing a lot of advertisement on plump lips. I almost gave in and purchase a lip gloss I don't really need. I'm almost turning 50 and my lips are pretty thin. If there's one feature I want to enhance it is to have beautiful lips. Given I'm a mother of three, it's my nature to try and save up for the kids instead of using it on myself. After some experiment I found a way to help minimize fine lines on lips and give them an instant puff.
You need two ingredients to make this lip plumper
Cinnamon Oil
A Carrier (shea butter or a clear, unscented lip gloss)
It's better to store it in an air tight container. You can empty out your old Sephora jar for this.
Instruction: Add 3-4 drops of cinnamon oil and 1/2 ounce of shea butter or unscented lip gloss in a container. Use a toothpick to stir get an even mixture. That's it!
