Netflix: Geography, Age, and Gender do Not Determine TV Show Taste

In an era or big data and information, it's pretty easy for a advertisers to determine how target you. You show up as a 23-year-old female, and they feed you a lot the ads related to fashion, celebrities, and makeup. Things I'm not really interested it... But put an ad for cheese in front of me, TAKE MY MONEY. See? I have the tastes of a 50 year old woman. And what I love is not necessarily what I "should" love for my age. Netflix came out with this exact idea. They stated that geography, age and gender are "garbage" for determining interest. Seriously though, what determines what people like to watch? I have a guy friend who binge watches the Bachelor. Meanwhile my grandma is obsessed with Breaking Bad. It just doesn't make sense to relate gender and age with tastes.

3 Mindfulness Apps Worth Your Attention

Mindfulness, meditation. It's hard to really understand what those words mean, or how to practice it without learning more about it. Instead of scouring the internet for things, how about you get an app to start practicing it? I've personally tried all these apps and can really dive into why each are pretty solid. TV Shows to Binge-Watch By MBTI

Well, it's the sad time that I've finished my first TV series i a couple months and I'm on to the search for another great show to watch. If you are going to devote that time to watching something for a long time, make sure you love it. What better way to find out what you'd like through your personality, eh? 13 Things I Learned Before Turning 23

Well, another year has passed and I'm another year older. Happy 23 to me:) I've been out of college (almost) a full year now, and I must say I've had one of the most crazy years of my life. Here are some things I've learned thus far... 1. Experiences are always better than things. You will never regret spending your money on a trip, a concert, or going to a play. 2. "Comparison is the Thief of Joy" Yes, it sounds like a weird old-time phrase, but and old boss said this to me and it totally shifted the way I look at everything. I was so focused on how others were better than me, that I forgot how great I was actually doing on my own. The only person I compare myself now to is the person I used to be.

The news right now is covered with election stuff, because, well, it's important stuff. But while the candidates are working on how to get elected, you also need to prep and learn more to figure out how to vote. Or at least where you stand on the issues in conversation today. Here are some awesome apps that will help you with just that! Voter Answer a few questions on what you believe in. And it'll give you a political candidate that aligns with those beliefs. It's really simple and it only takes a few minutes. So even if you don't go into extensive research, you can know a little bit about the candidates platforms. Countable This app takes things a bit further, allowing you to dive into what congress is up to. And making it easy to contact and keep an eye on your member. It gives profiles of the presidential candidates, but also reminds us to check-up on our local peeps. It also allows you to see what bills are being debated and voted on. Pretty neat stuff, eh?

Well, while we all really despise John Kasich for eating his pizza the WRONG WAY. I decided to dig a little more about found this is a common theme.
