All summer long, the catering company Paula LeDuc has teamed up with Snippet & Ink to highlight wedding-appropriate signature cocktails. With fabulous photography by Josh Gruetzmacher, it's easy to see why the drinks from the summer series has been so popular!
The Gold Standard is a sherry beverage that gently merges the sunset of Summer with the harvest of Fall.
The Gold Standard
(this recipe makes 2 portions)
Glass – bodum pavina (or any small 2.5 oz. “taster” glass)
Method – shake & fine & strain
Garnish – pimenton spice mix on rim (or paprika)
• 1.5 oz. Amontillado Sherry
• 75 oz. Baby Golden Beet Juice
• 75 oz. heirloom tomato syrup (Click here to learn how to make this easy!)
• 75 oz. fresh lemon juice
Shake well with ice and fine-strain into 2 small “taster” glasses rimmed with pimenton spice mix.
