Time for a little vent.

I'm sure many of you have heard these before but I absolutely hate when some non-Kpop fans (keyword being *some*) say really ignorant things about K-pop or the fandom. It irks me every single time and I always resort to responding in a sarcastic manner. Here are just a few of the things I hear that irritate me to no end...
Wait...so they're like...a band...but like...they don't even play instruments...? LAME.
"Well, you see, they are not exactly traditional bands...a lot of idols do actually play instruments..."
So...you like weird music...?
"Depends. Do you define weird as anything that you are not familiar with?'
But...you're not even...like...Korean...
"Oh, really? I didn't know. Also, that time we had a Coldplay phase...were we both British?"
Why don't you like regular music?
"Please enlighten me on this amazing genre of "regular" music!"
Oh, so you like totally want to date Korean guys!
"I don't even have words for you anymore"
So is PSY your favorite?
"..." *crickets*
So they basically copy American pop music, right?
"Yes, they spend their creative talents & big budgets to train idols to copy other music..."
Omg, like...(Insert Any Non-Kpop Music) is SO MUCH BETTER.
"Did I ask?"

How do you guys respond to these kinds of statements? Have you heard other annoying/ignorant things?

My personal favorite..."so, is that like Chinese or something" ...ahhhhhh..."yeah, there rocket scientist...thats why it is called "K" pop.
for me one that pisses me off is when they called them Chinese
SMDH.....my sister continually says I just don't understand *rolls her eyes*....yet she fangirls over metal bands and tells me all about it....and I'm completely understanding. Rising above, darling....rising above. I better be getting points in the afterlife.....
@poojas The thing is that I fought with my friend who's a HUGE Directioner but she's very stubborn. I explained to her my K-Pop knowledge, and that she should give K-Pop a chance since it's really cool and knowing her taste of music, I know some groups she'll completely adore. But because of the language barrier she rather not listen to it. I showed her Rap Mon "Do You" and some other song which I forgot and she kept laughing and wanting to take off the earphone. I was so annoyed of how childish she was acting by just one song and gave up. So now, I don't even bother. I do get mad if they make fun of Asian music, but there's no use of arguing when they're thick-headed.
I just laugh and correct them in their wrongness, or ignore them. I also use the I like what I like and I don't think about it to much. If it makes me happy, why question it?
