11 Struggles Of Ridiculously Creative People
Honestly, I'm not disorganized...I just have a lot of ideas. 1. People are always asking you "what do you do?" Creative people do a lot of things. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what you do, but you're good at whatever that is right? 2. You've got a lot of different interests. You like music and art, fashion, writing and movies. You play guitar and you draw. You like a lot of different kinds of websites and you work on a lot of different things. There's nothing wrong with that. People may criticize you for your divided focus, but you view it as a gift. 3. People are always concerned about your wellbeing. You tend to get stressed pretty easily, probably because you're doing a lot of things at once. You can't help it, you love to work and you love to let your creativity flow. Probably because you're being rewarded for just being yourself. 4. You are really eccentric, because most creatives are. It's lame to be weird as a kid, but totally cool to be weird as an adult. If you're going to be crazy, you better get paid for it. Being creative means that you're automatically a secret weapon. You come in when there's no other recourse. 5. You have an insatiable need to create, and sometimes it makes you crazy. You wake up in the middle of the night sometimes and you end up writing something profound in your notebook, or drawing a beautiful masterpiece. There is something inside of you that makes it hard to sleep or take off from work. You have to be doing something all the time, and alhough that leads to stress and anxiety...you will ultimately be rewarded. Because everyone loves a good worker, and people like it even more if that work is innovative. 6. When you get blocked up, it can totally cripple you. Your creativity is the thing that keeps you going. When you hit a road block, and the ideas stop flowing it can seem like you have nothing. But sure enough, when you put pen to paper to draw, write, paint or create, you know that something will come out. Because it has to. 7. Your creativity isn't a hobby...it's your life. It offends you when people don't value it as an asset. Sure, your'e not like everybody else, but that's a really good thing. Creativity is something that not everyone can possess. It's a natural ability and when people tell you that you can't use it, or that it's not valuable, they're wrong. 8. You constantly worry about missing opportunities, and not moving quickly enough. Because your brain is always firing on all cylinders it's easy to become anxious. When those blocks happen, things can get trapped and ideas start to falter. It seems like you're always creating something new, and when that doesn't happen...well, it might seem like the end of your world. 9. You're always fighting with yourself about art and commerce. What can make you the most money doesn't necessarily yield the most artistic results. There's a constant struggle in your head based on a key struggle that has been happening for centuries. It's a fundamental thing. You want to be creative, and make art. And people want to sell your creativity for profit. You have to find the good in what you're doing. 10. You have a serious fear of becoming a "starving artist". You don't want to prove all of your haters right. People in creative fields, or creatives in non-creative fields are always pitted against those who go the more "traditional" route. It's something you'll have to deal with. Creatives are automatically viewed as the underdog, simply because people tend to misunderstand what you're doing. 11. No matter what holds you back, you find a way to get past it. Because you're creative, and nothing can stop you. You're constantly inventing new ways of doing things, and you won't stop until you change the world.
How To Learn A New Language At Home
I've been trying to improve my French recently, and came across these awesome YouTubers called DamonandJo. They have self-taught themselves nearly 6 languages! I believe they speak French, Spanish, Portugese, Italian, German, and of course English! You can either watch the video above (which I suggest cause they have the BEST sense of humor) or check out their tips below: 1. Follow Famous YouTubers in the language you want to learn! There are tons of youtubers in other languages, and often if they are famous enough, there will be english subtitles. Listen to them to hear real people speaking the language rather than a text book! They're usually super entertaining too so it helps :) 2. Follow those YouTubers or famous people on twitter so you see that language each day! The easiest way to get used to a foreign language is to see it all the time and this really helps! 3. Change your phone/facebook/etc language to your desired language! Since you probably already know where everything is in your phone or facebook, you wont be confused and you'll learn a ton of new vocab! 4. Listen to audio books in the language you want!!! Audible has a ton of foreign language books. Try starting with a book you already know well (like Harry Potter for me - I'm trying to read that in Korean right now...) and listen throughout your day! 5. Sign up for foreign magazines or newsletters! Or even better download their app in another language! For example, my boyfriend gets push notification from Le Monde which is a french newspaper :) Even if you only read the headline, its practice. 6. Try cooking a meal using a recipe in a different language! You start to learn that a lot of words you actually already know (for example, sauté means the same thing in french and in korean bokkeum (like bokkeumbap) means fried! so literally "fried rice!" 7. Watch TV shows in the language Duh!!!! 8. Talk to yourself and dont be afraid! Practice speaking whenever you can, even to people who are strangers! be brave! What languages are you trying to learn?!

5 Simple Tips for Writing a Fan Letter in Korean
1. Use polite verb forms. Basically, Korean has two types of verb endings for polite speech style: 요(yo) and 다(da). When writing fan letters to celebrities, 요(yo) form is more appropriate than 다(da) form; 다(da) would sound too polite and formal for that kind of letter. 2. Use polite noun forms. In Korean, some nouns have entirely different forms for plain speech and honorific speech. To be polite, use 저(jeo) / 제(je) instead of 나(na) / 내(ne). 저(jeo) is the equivalent to ‘I, me’ in polite speech. 나(na) is the casual form of 저(jeo). 제(je) is the equivalent to ‘my’ in casual speech. 내(ne) is the casual form of 제(je). 3. But don’t be too formal and too polite. I’ve noticed that a lot of Korean learners tend to use the most polite noun forms when writing. Erring on the side of politeness is, of course, always good and safe, but in this fan letter, too-formal and too-polite nouns would sound a little awkward to native speakers (that is, the celebrities who will read your letter). Do not use 당신(dangshin). Instead, choose the right title for them, such as 오빠(oppa), 언니(unni), 누나(nuna), or 형(hyung), and use it. 4. Choose the perfect titles for celebrities. If the people you’re sending a letter to are older than you, you should use an appropriate title for them. There are four kinds of titles you would use. The most common titles are 오빠(oppa), 언니(unni), 누나(nuna), and 형(hyung). But what if you would be the same age as he/she? Adding the suffix씨 (ssi) to the name could be the appropriate solution in polite speech. When writing the letter with casual speech, you would attach 아 to the name ending in a consonant or 야 to the name ending with a vowel. In most cases, the given names are used with the titles we’ve just learned : First name + title. e.g. 세훈씨 Sehoon-ssi (from a male/female who is the same age as Sehoon in polite speech) 백현아 baekhyun-a (from a male/female who is the same age as Baekhyun in casual speech) 수호야 Suho-ya (from a male/female who is the same age as Suho in casual speech) 민호 오빠 Minho oppa (from a female younger than Minho) 티파니 누나 Tiffany nuna (from a male younger than Tiffany) 5. Attach 께 or 에게 to titles in the first sentence of a letter. The Korean equivalent of “to / dear” is “께(kke)” or “에게(ege)”. Though grammatically 께(kke) is the more honorific form than 에게(ege), there is no big difference between them. Just choose whichever you’d like to use. e.g. 중기 오빠께 / 중기 오빠에게 To Joongki oppa, Dear Joongki oppa (from a female younger than Joongki) Here is the entire example of a fan letter written in Korean. This letter was written to 송중기 (Joongki Song, a male Korean actor) by a younger female fan. For reference, I've made some blanks. You can freely adapt this template to suit your context, and fill in the blanks with the name of the celebrity you love! (중기 오빠)에게, To Joongki oppa, 안녕하세요. 저는 (싱가폴)에 살고 있는 (중기 오빠) 팬 (제시카)예요. Hello, I’m your fan Jessica from Singapore. I’ve enjoyed watching your drama ‘Descendants of the Sun.’ I also watched your movie ‘A Werewolf Boy.’ You’re so cool. You’re my favorite actor. (어제) (오빠)가 큰 상을 받아서 정말 기뻤어요. 5 Ways To Stop Procrastinating
You have a deadline and you just can not focus. It happens to the very best of us and it completely kills time. Avoiding work is one of the biggest time wasters and even worse, it can keep you from having fun. Here are some tips to help you get done quick and get to doing what you really want to do. Don't sit next to your friends As I am trying to write this card there is a room full of people having conversations that I want, no need, to be involved in. It has actually taken me 10 minutes just to write the title. The most important thing you need to remember when trying to meet a deadline is to not sit by your friends. It may be a lonely library/work day but when you finish your work early you can catch up with your friends doing something you'll all enjoy...happy hour! If you have no other option, bring headphones Shut off All social media Websites have been developed to help students get rid of distractions during finals. Apps like SelfControl let you plug in the website that you need to be blocked from, be it Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, Buzzfeed, anything, as well as the time frame you need to be banned from. Once you enter the information you must wait out the time. Its the best way to avoid the distractions. Listen to Classical Music It is extremely difficult to study while listening to music with lyrics. Your brain will only be half paying attention to your work as the other (obviously more fun) half will be rocking out to whatever music is blasting from your headphones. It has been scientifically proven that classical music helps you focus, even on those dry as hell science textbooks. Break it up into smaller portions We've all been there; the night before a huge paper and you have only the title. Staring at a blank page and knowing all the work that lies ahead of you makes it even harder to start. If you break up the assignment into smaller portions it will be much easier to not only finish, but to focus on. Writing 2 pages a day is a lot easier then 20 in one day. Although lets be real, some of you are still going to wait till the last second. Just break it up during the all nighter. Write 3 pages then get a snack, write another 3 and go for a walk or allow yourself to check Facebook. Smaller portions is always better. Have Something To Look Forward To! Have a reward waiting for you once you cross that invisible finish line! It can be meeting your friends at a party and drinking until you forgot about the assignment you just finished, or hopping into bed for a nice 17 hour slumber. Whatever it is make sure you know that after you power though your work you will be much happier!! Like I am now. And heres a perfect video to motivate you. If Shia LaBeouf doesn't get your ass moving, nothing will.
