You may not have washboard abs, a flat stomach, toned arms, a firm butt, or lean legs, but that doesn’t mean you’re not working hard to get them. This card is for all the people who are busting their asses; however, their bodies don’t show it yet.
Cardio: required for fat loss. HIIT (high intensity interval training) is said to be the most effective cardio for fat loss. Run outside, hop on a bike, or get on a tread climber. Just keep moving.
Strength/Weight training: required for toning and definition. You won’t get abs or toned looking legs without lifting and pushing your body to another level. Remember to do both high reps and light weight and low reps and heavy weights.
Clean eating and proper nutrition: there’s a reason everyone tells you the formula to losing weight is 70% diet, 30% exercise. Always keep your food intake in check and never let several cheat days ruin your meal plan.
No matter how much cardio you do, if you eat horribly and neglect doing strength and conditioning work, you will not receive the toned, slim body you’re going for. The same goes for eating well, but not working out. Your body won’t change drastically and you won't see results. Find what works for you and stick to it! Your body will get there in no time.
