I Dare You to Watch the Entire Trailer for The Visit

Do you feel like being terrified today? I've got just the movie for you!

The Visit is an upcoming psychological thriller, and it's got all the elements of a perfect scary movie - old people, spooky attics and a house in the middle of the woods. Not to mention this creepy, blood stained embroidery...
It's about two kids who go on an innocent visit to their seemingly adorable grandparent's house, but come to find that something is terribly, terribly wrong with the old couple.
I just finished the trailer, and to be honest, I spent most of the time peeking through my fingers, BUT the parts that I did catch made me scream/cry in terror. Let me give you a brief synopsis so you can decide if you're brave enough to watch it.

1. It starts out with happy, upbeat music. Everything is going to be alright. SIKE.

2. Things take a turn....I JUST SAW A FLESHY ARM DART ACROSS SCREEN WHAT'S HAPPENING!?

3. "There's something wrong with Nana and Pop Pop" NO KIDDING.

4. Grandma is in a rocking chair laughing maniacally, I just can't.

5. Don't go in the attic, don't go in the attic!! I can't imagine this ending well.

6. SOS I THINK GRANDMA JUST PUT A GRANDCHILD IN THE OVEN.

The trailer is obviously a roller coaster of emotions, but if you're up to the challenge, watch it below.

Were you terrified?? Or am I just a wimp....

this is something i realy want to watch but am also already terrified of ughhhh
Surprisingly, I actually want to laugh every time this commercial comes on when I'm watching Hulu. I am the biggest crybaby when it comes to scary movies, going so far as to roll into the fetal position, squeeze my eyes shut, plug my ears, and rock back and forth humming until I'm sure the commercial is over (this is not an exaggeration- thanks Paranormal Activity 2), but this commercial just doesn't instill terror in me. Perhaps it's because it is old people instead of creepy children, or the idea of my own sweet, adorable grandmother being possessed that is so laughable. Every time the trailer for Sinister 2 comes on, however, I assume the position stated above. Regardless of how the trailer makes me feel though, I will still not be seeing "The Visit", because I'm sure I won't find it so laughable then. (:
hahah @kmccord95 that's so funny! I agree, they could have found a creepier grandma, but this trailer still freaks me out so much! that part about her putting her granddaughter in the oven, omg I lose it there. I'm going to go see it I think, but you're right I bet the whole movie itself is going to be way freakier than the trailer. I'm gonna do what you do and close my eyes, plug my ears and rock back and forth...everyone in the theater will love that!
