I'm not a heavy breakfast type of person. I love eggs, hash brown and milk but it's difficult for my stomach to digest it. Plain yogurt somehow became my go-to option. Though, when I have spare time in the morning I like to be a little adventurous and bust out the blender. Then test out breakfast and dessert recipes.
Açai Bowl Recipe
Packed with antioxidants, omega fatty acids, fiber, and minerals that will power you up for the day.
4 packs frozen açai berry purée
2 cups coconut water
1 cup frozen strawberries
2 tablespoons hemp protein powder
1 cup granola
2 handfuls fresh berries
4 tablespoons hemp seeds
Blend the base. Add toppings and Enjoy!
Coconut Mint Ice-Cream Recipe
It's all about chlorella in this recipe. This icy, delicious breakfast will wake you up better than a cup of caffeine.
2 cups Brazil nut cream (soak, then blend)
2 cups fresh coconut meat
2 Tbsp coconut water
2 Tbsp Tocos
4 grams chlorella
12 large fresh mint leaves
3 droppers full of stevia
1 tsp ground vanilla
1 pinch Celtic sea salt
Prepare the Brail-nut cream:
Blend 1 1/2 cups of Brazil nuts with 2 cups of filtered water. Strain through a nut-milk bag. Rinse the blender and pour the Brazil-nut cream back in.
Make the ice-cream base:
Add all the other ingredient in the blender. Mix on high until all ingredients are well blended.
Freeze the ice cream base for 24 hours then work it with your ice-cream maker. Optional: serve with fresh mint leaves.
