Okay, so I was tagged a little over a week ago to participate in the Anime crush card. Since I have played video games possibly more than watch a lot of anime, the ladies are letting me add my video game crushes to make 10. So here they are.
First we have Miyamoto Musashi, he is by far my most favorite out of everything. I am really big on Japanese history, and have been since I was little. I have read the novel that was based on him and his time in Japan. When Samaruai Warriors and Warriors Orochi had him in it, you can bet your food I always chose him. He was one of Japan's Greatest Swordsman and Samurai. After he perfected the art of sword wielding, he became a scholar, and turned to poetry, calligraphy, sculpting and painting. Fun fact: He created a unique kenjutsu school in which used the katana and wakizashi. He named the technique Niten Ichi Ryu, "two heavens as one". Musashi is Bae!
Next we have Motochika Chōsokabe. He was a daimyo in the Sengoku Period. Again, one of my favorite characters.
Akechi Mitsuhide ranks #3 on my list. He was the guy who single handedly took down Oda Nobunaga. He lived during the Sengoku period of Feudal Japan.
Maeda Toshimasu better known as Maeda Keiji was also a Samurai of the Sengoku Period. Not much is known of Maeda Keiji, but many sources say he loved fights and felt most at home in the middle of battle. Fun Fact: I hated being on the receiving end of the fights with Keiji in every game. He was powerful and difficult to overcome.
Hanzo Hattori was the leader of the Iga Ninja Clan in 16th century Japan. By the time he was 16, he had proven his skill and worth to many generals. His nickname was the 'Devil Hanzo' He lived his last years as a monk under the name Sainen and built the temple Sainenji.
Tenchi Masaki was my first Anime Crush from the Tenchi Muyo series. He was a total Babe to me when I was little XD I knew i wanted a guy that was like him in every way, minus 6 chicks to fight off! XD
Now we have Himura Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin. Let's all salute Nebuhiro Watsuki for creating this gem. I remember watching the show and reading the Manga that my brother introduced me to. So I guess my brother deserves recognition for this one as well. I have been dying to see the live action film. I've been noticing a trend so far with me... I like guy's with swords! XD that's fantastic. I guess my subconscious wants a samurai!
L-Death Note!! L is indeed still the perfect definition of love. XD Of course he's going to be on my list!! Just look at him. *SWOON* He was brilliant and so smart. Major Babe status! Loved that he owled!
Dragon Ball Z Trunks!! How can you not like a guy with purple hair?? I know I can't! Trunks was my favorite from DBZ.
Yamcha is one of my favorites as well from DBZ. Yes he wasn't the strongest character, but he was still the underdog and I loved that about him.
