How to: TEXTING IN KOREAN

Let's learn Korean texting sounds!

You can use these when you type in Korean like how we use 'lol,' 'hahahahahahah,' or :'((((

Crying:

LOL:

HAHA:

HIHIHI/HEHEHE:

OKAY:

AHHHHH:

헐, pronounced "heol/hull," is sort of like a sarcastic 'wow.' Or an unamused 'omg I can't believe you did that....'
Like if your friend makes a really stupid joke and no one laughs, you can break the silence by saying '헐'
It's hard to explain cause it can be used in many ways so if anyone else has some explanation I'd appreciate it!

Awesome card!! :D I wish there was a way we could all magically learn how to fluently write and speak in hangul.... (>_<)
I usually translated 헐 as "no way" because of the variation in which it's used ㅠㅠ it's used as overly sarcastic or to deadpan ㅋㅋㅋ it's a specifically Korean thing
I use all of these XD and 콜for deal or okay too >.<
My friends better watch out for my texts. Thanks for the awesome card
i found it sad how I knew all of these 오!!

How To Learn A New Language At Home
I've been trying to improve my French recently, and came across these awesome YouTubers called DamonandJo. They have self-taught themselves nearly 6 languages! I believe they speak French, Spanish, Portugese, Italian, German, and of course English! You can either watch the video above (which I suggest cause they have the BEST sense of humor) or check out their tips below: 1. Follow Famous YouTubers in the language you want to learn! There are tons of youtubers in other languages, and often if they are famous enough, there will be english subtitles. Listen to them to hear real people speaking the language rather than a text book! They're usually super entertaining too so it helps :) 2. Follow those YouTubers or famous people on twitter so you see that language each day! The easiest way to get used to a foreign language is to see it all the time and this really helps! 3. Change your phone/facebook/etc language to your desired language! Since you probably already know where everything is in your phone or facebook, you wont be confused and you'll learn a ton of new vocab! 4. Listen to audio books in the language you want!!! Audible has a ton of foreign language books. Try starting with a book you already know well (like Harry Potter for me - I'm trying to read that in Korean right now...) and listen throughout your day! 5. Sign up for foreign magazines or newsletters! Or even better download their app in another language! For example, my boyfriend gets push notification from Le Monde which is a french newspaper :) Even if you only read the headline, its practice. 6. Try cooking a meal using a recipe in a different language! You start to learn that a lot of words you actually already know (for example, sauté means the same thing in french and in korean bokkeum (like bokkeumbap) means fried! so literally "fried rice!" 7. Watch TV shows in the language Duh!!!! 8. Talk to yourself and dont be afraid! Practice speaking whenever you can, even to people who are strangers! be brave! What languages are you trying to learn?!
Kawaii Shopping Experience in Japan
What's the first thing you think about when you think of a Kawaii Shop I'm not sure if you are a fan, but I love kawaii plushies. They look great and are very practical. During my Japan itinerary I found many Japanese Kawaii shops that sold cute items such as tops, dresses, and cute food. A Kawaii shop is a wonderful place to be, even for adults. All things are made to be touched. Kawaii Shops are designed to make our lives easier. It is surprising to discover that Kawaii shops aren't just for children, as I thought. I'm surprised that so many adults are buying everyday items from Kawaii Shops. This makes me wonder why other countries haven’t adopted the idea of a shop with squishy. WHY DOES EVERYBODY LOVE A GOOD KAWAII SHOP This is a fact that both males and females love kawaii shops. This misconception is because kawaii products are only for women. Here's why. This is all about the survival of our species. Because we are wired to see human babies, we are naturally drawn to cuteness. We need to respond to cute baby features by having a protective reaction. The urge to love cute things does not stop with babies. However, it is well-known that humans love all babies, no matter what species they are, including baby cats, bunnies, and bears. You will see that you can feel compelled to buy all the merchandise next time you visit the Kawaii shop. BEST KAWAII SHOP Japan is home to the world's best Kawaii Shop. Japan actually has Harajuku, which is a designated area for various Kawaii Shops. There are many cute things to find, including fashion accessories and other kawaii merchandise. You can also find delicious edible dishes. When I was last in Japan, I could not stop going to all the Kawaii shops in search of adorable kawaii plushies. There were so many items that I couldn't decide which ones to buy. I was able to find a way to share my favorites with you. Take a look at this Kawaii Shop to find the cutest product possible!
