Have you forgotten the Cattleya orchid when thinking orchids for your Big Day? While not as popular as they once were, the Cattleya orchid has gone from mostly white to feature every color on the spectrum, with the exception of blue. Just like roses, these will never bloom a true blue color. However, with brides seeking all kinds of colors for their bouquets, the Cattleya should be on your list.
One of the main reasons I love this flower is because its petals and stems have characteristics that blend between Scandinavian "Holland" flowers and those in the tropics. One distracted look, and you might think these are irises or even amaryllis.
