Screw Mcdonald's itty-bitty sandwiches that has like a billion calories per bite. This morning, we're going to bite into something refreshingly yummy. It's an easy recipe, and it doesn't require much cooking skills (the hardest part is cooking the fry egg!)
Also, the important thing here for the sandwich is to find fresh Cuban bread. You should be able to find it at a local bakery if you're in a large city. If you can't find Cuban bread, French bread will work. It's just not as legit (for a CUBAN sandwich)..... But, we can make do.
Alright, enough talking. Let's make breakfast!
What You'll Need
1 Slice Swiss Cheese
1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
2 Slices Deli Ham
1 Tablespoon of Vegetable Oil
How To Make It:
1) Fry 1 egg: Add vegetable oil to medium-heat pan.
2) Open bread. Add the cooked egg, swiss cheese, ham, pickles and dijon mustard.
3) Close bread. Bring back sandwich to the pan. Toast/brown each side for about 1 minute.
TIP: Have a cup of cafe con leche with your Cuban sandwich! You can even dunk your sandwich into the coffee. Yum....qué rico!
