Alright! So @VinMcCarthy wanted to a first video game challenge, so here is the beginning of my story as a video gaming tot. I owe all my video game achievements, to this day, to my GodFather Jerry, may you R.I.P
Okay. So I was 4 years old when I was first introduced to the gaming world. His oldest stepson told me flat out i couldn't play video games because i was a little girl.... I went running and told on him quicker than you can say jackrabbit. I was Jerry's fav, so guess who won!! Anyway, my first gaming system was a sega genesis, then a NES.. So yeah.. i started off early..
In Sonic the Hedgehog the whole point of the game was to collect the coins, pass the level in the alloted time given, and work towards beating the scientist Dr. Robotnik..
It stars Sonic the Hedgehog in a quest to defeat Dr. Robotnik, an evil scientist who has imprisoned animals in robots and stolen the magical Chaos Emeralds. Sonic the Hedgehog 's gameplay involves collecting rings as a form of health and a simple control scheme, with jumping and attacking controlled by one button.
So now we get to where you learn how to rage at 4 year's old.... If and when you got hit guess what?.... You died and all those preciousness coins you collected, go bye-bye..... You could have made it to the very end with 300+ coins thinking you're a complete badass for avoiding enemies attacks... but then they pull that one ounce of happiness by having you lose all the coins. Not a few handfuls, BUT ALL THE DAMN COINS... Which brings us to the next section. ...
Now I'm not perfect, I will say that I raged at a very young age on video games... My family stilll makes fun of me to this day, and doesn't let me live it down because I now see the error of my ways and how much I cost my parents by them having to replace controller's every week. /~\ Just imagine a 4 year old yelling at the t.v with words like "stupid... ugh. you're ugly! why did you that? idiot!" and throwing controllers across the room... Yup that imagine, was me at 4... I grew out of it though and turned that negative energy into positive!
So yes Sonic series was my first games! XD I don't rage anymore I grew out of it..
