I am 23 years old and have just realize how totally awesome, cost efficient, and straight up delicious quiches are. In fact, I am eating the first ever created by me quiche right now and it is amazing.
But honestly, the best thing about quiches is there are no rules! So get in the kitchen, get some eggs, milk and cream (because those ingredients are the same across the board) and then the rest is up to your creative mind!!
Here are a few recipes just to get your creative juices flowing; but I would advice you not to follow them completely, because honestly the best quiche is the one that involves all of your favorite ingredients.
And I promise you, it will always taste good.

My Quiche Creation

Obviously I need to share mine because I am so proud of it!

5 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
Pillsbury pie crust
Red onion
Cheddar cheese

Putting It Together:

Put the pie crust in a pie dish, (if frozen let thaw for 15 minutes.)
Add all the veggies and cheese in the crust.
Scramble eggs, milk, and heavy cream.
Pour into pie crust until full but not overflowing.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Bake at 375 for 35-40 minutes.

The Meat Lovers Quiche

From the Barbara Bakes website, I bring to you the most epic, could totally serve during football sunday, quiche.

1 Pillsbury pie crust
6 large eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup cooked ground sausage
1/2 cup diced ham
2 large green onions, chopped
1 cup shredded cheese

Putting It Together:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Layer meat, green onion and cheese on pie crust.
Scramble the eggs, milk and salt and pepper.
Pour on top of meat until full.
Bake for 35-40 minutes.

Muffin Quiche

You can even be creative about the size of the quiches !! The ingredients are all the same, milk, eggs, and heavy cream, except now its cute little breakfast muffins on the go!! The only thing you don't need is the pie crust because these will be exactly like cupcakes.

Putting it Together

Spray the cupcake sheet with non-stick!
Add your creative ingredients right into the cups!
Make the egg, milk, and heavy cream mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
Fill the cups up 2/3 of the way with the egg mixture to give it room to rise.
Bake at 425 for 30-40 minutes!

Insert Your Own Quiche Here

The point of the quiche is to make it your own!! You can add just two ingredients like bacon and cheese, or make it a garbage quiche and add every single thing in your fridge. The point is it will taste AWESOME!! So go crazy because the only ingredients that you need to have are these:
- Half a dozen eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (to make it fluffier)
- Pie crust

So go crazy and let me know the awesome creations that you come up with! I am always on the hunt for cool new quiche ideas for parties, brunches or just a dinner to whip together before grocery day.

@virginvingler thanks!!! It was totally awesome and my new fav thing to make !!!!
