DIY watercolor coffee mug
This DIY project is so easy, but will make your mugs look incredibly expensive. This project is perfect for transforming those boring, white mugs into a work of art. This DIY tutorial comes from the creative people at Cute DIY Projects.

If you need more help with making these awesome mugs, check out this video where there are step-by-step instructions for the project.

Materials

You only need three things for this project: a plain, white coffee mug, a tub of water and nail polish in the desired color (they used light and dark purple in this specific project).

Transform your mug!

Fill the tub with lukewarm water. Drop a few drops of nail polish into the water and let the nail polish spread out in the water (you can use different colors of nail polish if you would like). Once the nail polish has spread out, dip the mug all the way into the water. Let it sit in there for a few minutes so that it can absorb the nail polish. Then, pull the mug out of the water and let the mug dry. After the mug has dried, pat it to make sure the nail polish is dry (do not rub).

Now you have an artistic, unique mug!
