Did you know you shouldn't brush your teeth right after eating?
The President of the Academy of General recommends waiting 30-60 minutes after meals to brush your teeth, especially if what you just ate was acidic.
Acidic foods – including citrus, tomatoes, soda, coffee, sports drinks, and others – can soften tooth enamel. Brushing them in this state increases the acid's harmful effect on your teeth, and may even erode the layer underneath.
So remember, wait 30 to 60 minutes before brushing!
