Kanye West’s political endorsements keep rolling in.
Yesterday, it was N.W.A. member Ice Cube voicing his support of Kanye and his run for president. Today Yeezus gets a co-sign from someone with political ties, as Chelsea Clinton (daughter of former president Bill Clinton) voiced her support of West in 2020.
Earlier this week Clinton sat down with MTV News. During the interview, Clinton told MTV News that she was a fan of ‘Ye’s wild MTV Video Music Awards speech and thinks that his announcement that he is running for president is “awesome.”
“I definitely think who runs for office is really important,” said Clinton. “Even if him just saying that helps spark a little boy or a little girl who was watching the VMAs to think, ‘Oh, wow! Maybe I should do that,’ that’s awesome.”
Getting a co-sign from someone like Chelsea Clinton really shows you the reach of Kanye West. This guy is more that a musician, he is someone who has become a household name for his work in the fashion and political world.
