J.K. Rowling Says We’ve Been Pronouncing ‘Voldemort’ Wrong For Years

I guess not saying aloud the "he who shall not me named..." uhhh name has caught up to us.

According to J.K. Rowling fans, directors and actors have been dropping the ball in regards to the proper pronunciation of Voldemort.
So is that why he never pops up in my... ehhh never mind.
The fun started with a random tweet from a fan on social media.
"@Universe_Box One piece of Harry Potter trivia I always forget to mention: the "t" is silent in Voldemort, according to @jk_rowling." said a fan on twitter.
Rowling hopped in immmediately to verify this as fact.

"... but I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who pronounces it that way," said Rowling.

My god, we have been dropping the ball on this one for over a decade! I can't believe Rowling has let this pass for so long.

@aabxo @nicolejb maybe she went along with it because she didn't want anyone to accidentally break the taboo on the name and summon his followers XD and now it's okay because they're all gone finally!
