Pegao is where it's attt!

This is hands-down the best part of the rice. It's the bottom, burnt part. It's crunchy, it has a ton of flavor, and in Puerto Rico....we call it "pegao." Because it's pretty freakin' perfect. I love eating yellow rice, and this is my favorite part of it.

I know I love it, but some people hate it.

Where do you stand on this yellow rice debate?
