One of our favorite famous models, Gigi Hadid, was everywhere this past February for New York Fashion Week's Fall/Winter 2015 Collections. This season, however, she seems to have picked her runways a bit more sparingly, popping up to surprise us with three choice shows. So where has Gigi been this past week?
Diane Von Furstenburg
Gigi was one of many model starlets walking the runway at DVF this season. Along with the likes of Karli Kloss, Kendall Jenner, and her own sister Bella Hadid, to name a few, Gigi sparkled in a plunging gown with gold butterfly embroidery.
Tommy Hilfiger dominated beach bum high fashion in a standout show, and Gigi walked again aside sister Bella as the golden California goddess she is in crochet and one seriously stringy swimsuit. I have a sneaking suspicion that the Hadids are few of the only girls to pull off crocheted bucket hats so well.
Who better to walk in Jeremy Scott's ever-surreal and outrageously cartoonish shows than doe-eyed and baby-faced Gigi Hadid? Gigi rocked the runway in vinyl and fishnets, and almost fooled us in that exaggerated blonde wig.
Gigi attended the Maybelline fashion week party as one of the label's recent models, and posed amongst the various models who recently joined her in Maybelline's latest campaign. She also attended the Daily Front Row's fashion media awards in a classic little red dress by Tommy Hilfiger, repping the brands she stuck to throughout fashion week.
In Between Shows: Street Style
Gigi kept her between-show street style sporty, flirty, and sweet in skater skirts and high-waisted shorts, opting for comfy but cute sneakers over the heels she would soon be rocking on the runway.
Instead of walking runway after runway, Gigi seemed to focus her efforts on the couple of designers she was working for, and played it up for the cameras wearing them and them only. And we don't hate her for it.
