Sarah Silverman may not be the funniest comedian of all time, but she has withstood the test of time.
According to Silverman, this isn't by chance though. The talented comedian understands pushing the envelope and keeping things honest have been a key to her success.
While it’s easy to dismiss those who are offended by her brand of comedy, she suggests that changing with the times isn’t the worst thing ever.
During an interview with Krista Smith of Vanity Fair, Silverman spoke in-depth about keeping his acts pure and raw, which often allows her to put forth the best product.
"To a degree, everyone’s going to be offended by something, so you can’t just decide on your material based on not offending anyone. But, I do think it’s important — as a comedian, as a human — to change with the times, to change with new information. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with changing with the times. I think it’s a sign of being old when you are put off by that."
