Today's Quick Question Challenge is:

Who is your favorite video game villain?

Mine is undoubtedly the villain of FFVI - Kefka Palazzo.

Kefka isn't just a psychopathic clown-looking guy. He starts the game out being something of a joke to the player, a foolish court mage who is doing the bidding of the evil Emperor Gestahl. He sets fire to Figaro Castle, and he is responsible for Terra's imprisonment. That's only the tip of his evil iceberg, though.
He later poisons a river, killing hundreds of people with no hesitation. Then he orchestrates the massacre of the Espers, taking the magicite they leave behind so that he may become more powerful. Ultimately, he murders the emperor and disrupted the balance of the Warring Triad so that he could ascend to the level of a god.
And he wins. He tears the world asunder and reigns over it as a violent, tyrannical god. A cult develops that worships him. For a year, he is the reigning power of the land. Of course, you ultimately defeat him, but until then, he was the greatest villain of all time.
Sephiroth. Easily. I was never more shocked by a video game (at that point in my life) than when he killed Aerith. He tries to kill Tifa, as well. Oh, and not to mention that whole let's destroy the planet routine. While I understood why he was so pissed off, I couldn't help but be seriously disgusted with everything he tried to do... and at the same time, amazed. I've also enjoy the stories of several WoW villains, but if I start there, I'll just keep going. lol
@ButterflyBlu yeah but my favorite non-heroic character has to be Ultralisk so awesome!!
@RosePark Yeah, I thought about Kerrigan. >:-)
Every Single Colossi in Shadow of the colossus!! They all have their own charm and they all look awesome. If they dont count as "Villains" then Zergs cause im korean lol
@RosePark uggghhh YESSSS to all of that. I thought I was playing an intrepid piece of artwork. the visuals, the sounds, the everything! it was so different. no stupid creeps to kill, a huge open environment with just agro, and the subtle storytelling was phenomenal.
