I was in a discussion with someone else about pearls and diamonds for engagement rings yesterday. And low and behold, I find a pearl and diamond on the same engagement ring today! So, of course, I texted my friend. Still waiting for a reply back.
I wanted to get your reaction to this vintage ring. What are your thoughts on wearing a ring that carries both a diamond and a pearl?
Here are the stats on this ring, which is being offered by Trumpet & Horn for $5,600:
Huckleberry is a delicate and authentic Edwardian era (circa 1910) platinum topped 18k yellow gold two stone ring centering an eight-prong set 0.76ct EGL certified Old European Cut diamond graded J color and VS2 clarity. The center diamond is offset by a sweet cream colored pearl gauged at approximately 5.67mm that reflects with an attractive and smooth luster. The shoulders of the ring are split and are each set with an additional fourteen Single Cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.10ct. Huckleberry is finished with simple 18k yellow gold shank and is currently a size 5.5 and can be sized to fit.
