When I was poring over the amazing before and after photos of an apartment (that you can see here) online, I also found this cute diy leather belt dresser pull! I love the idea of painted leathers and then using them in new ways that haven't been thought of before.
Start by painting the back side of your belt. It will take at least two coats because the leather will absorb the color.
When your paint is dry take a straight edge and mark where you need to cut your belt. Each of our straps were 5 inches long.
Use your drill to drill 2 holes into your straps and insert your Hex screw.
This is a subtle way to add some color to a masculine piece of furniture.
