At the moment movie to tv adaptations are the "in" thing in Hollywood.

If their is room to expand a movie, networks are cashing in their chips to capitalize on the newest craze. In an effort to keep the ball rolling, NBC has called upon a man with a particular set of skills to lead their next run of movie to tv shows.

That's right, "Taken" may become a running television show on NBC!

Universal Television is going in on the project with Luc Besson’s production company EuropaCorp.
With Fox premiering its Minority Report series this upcoming Monday with CBS’s Limitless ON Tuesday, it seems as if NBC is looking to catch up to it's competitors before it's too late.
While we don't have a lot to go on in regards to successful Prequel series, Bates Motel has done a pretty great job at telling the story of young Norman Bates.
Taken has a strong storyline filled with action. With the right storyline and director, this could be a hit.
With that being said, I know people don't want to see the movie series destroyed by a crappy show, so lets pray NBC comes correct with this one.

With the right people on board, this could be must see tv, right?
