Tom Hiddleston might not return as Loki

Serious news Marvelers!

Ragnarok isn't going into production for a while, but rumors are already spreading that Tom Hiddleston might not be returning to play Loki. What?! Apparently that casting is not set in stone. While he was on the press tour for Crimson Peak, this is what he said about playing the character (Via):
"You know, I don’t know. I think I won’t be able to help it if I ever play him again, and I just don’t know when that’s gonna happen, if that’s gonna happen. I would never lose his dimension, but it’s so interesting. I’ve talked with Chris Hemsworth, how those characters have changed as we’ve changed. It’s five years ago since I played him for the first time. That’s a long time ago. So who knows what I’ll be cooking up!"
Um, seriously Marvel? This is terrible news.

I know production on Ragnarok has been pushed back, but come on!

Marvel: You have to know how essential Hiddleston is to the success of the Thor movies. We are basically in love with him. You *really* need to get him on board for this one! Loki is an essential part of the Ragnarok story line, at this point no one else can deliver it! Am I right?

@Bakuman247 RDJ actually said recently he'd like to see someone else take over the character... that's why he ended up getting paid so much, they had to bend over backwards to keep him. then again maybe he was just saying that to up his salary......
