This DIY project is perfect to add a little bit of flair to your apartment or home. It's also really easy and incredibly cheap! This DIY tutorial comes from the incredibly creative people at Sugar and Cloth.
For this project, you will need:
-- Terracotta bowls
-- Ceramic paint
-- Paint brushes (one medium and one small)
You can find all of these items at a craft store for relatively cheap.
Paint the base coat
Use the paint brush and ceramic paint to paint the first coat on the bowls. Let the coat dry completely. You may need to do another coat to make the paint completely opaque. Let that coat dry completely also.
Paint the designs
Use the small paint brush to paint designs on the bowls. This is where you can let your creativity run wild! Let the paint dry completely.
Bake the bowls
To allow the paint to completely set in, bake the painted bowls at 300 degrees for 35 minutes (or follow the instructions on the back of the ceramic paint).
Bring out the chips and guac and enjoy your painted bowls!
