My Baking Addiction might just be my new, well, addiction! I'm not sure when I first discovered the blog, but today I rediscovered just how awesome (and beautifully photographed) all the recipes are. There are soooo many things on there I want to try (don't worry, I'll steadily share them all on Vingle mwahaha). But this one, because I'm in a fall mood today, is extra appealing.
It's the Apple Cider Swizzle, a cocktail pairing spiced rum with hard apple cider. Add a touch of maple syrup and amaretto for sweetness, and you've got a delectable autumn concoction on your hands!

What You Need
(Makes 1 cocktail)
2 ounces spiced rum
1/2 ounce maple syrup
1/2 ounce Amaretto (almond liqueur)
2 ounces hard apple cider
2-3 dashes Angostura bitters
apple slice for garnish
Add rum, maple syrup, Amaretto, and cider to a collins glass half filled with crushed ice. Use a swizzle stick to mix the drink well, until the glass turns frosty and all ingredients are well combined. Add bitters and more crushed ice. Garnish with an apple slice, and serve!
