Everyone should have a daily beauty routine.
If you don't find one that works for you, but remember that there are certain things that work and certain things that don't work. One of the first things we do in the morning is wash our face -- at least it should be. Even though you washed your makeup off from the night before, to ensure that your face is refreshed, clean and lo free -- washing in the morning is a step that no one should skip.
The majority of us are probably guilty of washing our faces in the shower. I mean, it's convenient and you're saving water. Well, according to Dr. Elizabeth Tanzi, co-director of the Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery, washing your face in the shower is a huge negative and it's your best bet to stop. "I recommend that my patients wash their faces at the sink. [You can gauge the temperature more effectively] and should use lukewarm to cold water, which is better for delicate faces", says Dr. Tanzi. Washing your face at the sink allows you to regulate the temperature of the water because as we all know, temperature is key.
Don't be lazy, wash your face at the sink and shower after.
Your water bill might not thank you, but your skin definitely will.
