‘Men In Black’ Will Apparently Be ‘Reinvented’ By Losing Will Smith

Word on the street is that the wildly popular Men In Black series could be seeing a re-boot soon.

While that news is great to hear, it comes with a twist: Will Smith will more than likely NOT be involved in the remake.
During an interview with The Hollywood Chat, Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald discussed the film and whether Will Smith will be involved.
You produced Men in Black. Has there been talk of reviving that franchise with the new Sony regime?
PARKES: We’re in the middle of it. It’s very active.
Is Will Smith going to be part of it?
PARKES: Most likely no.
MACDONALD: It will be reinvented as a trilogy.

I love that the movie will be bought back to life, but it SUCKS that Will Smith may not be apart.

A re-boot with a fresh set of characters is needed for the next line to make sense, but I'm sure there is a place for Smith in the movie. I thought him coming back as the new "Zed" would be perfect, what about you?

Well Will Smith def played his role perfectly in the movies, but I feel like using him again would be a bit repetitive you know.....it might be better to see some new faces in the movies
