Just because you're a romantic and you got a lotta feels doesn't mean you can't be a tough mthrfckr!!! @Arellano1052 made an awesome card about the songs he likes to drive to, which you should totally check out. I was surprised by some of his picks (I didn't peg you as a Schoolboy Q fan, dude!! Sick!).

The times when I find myself driving on the highway, nowhere to go really, but moving fast and listening to music as loud as it can go – well, they're usually when I'm distressed and have a lot on my mind (see: breakups).

They're not all necessarily breakup songs, but they're all good driving songs – songs to cruise to, songs that drown out feelings and sweep you away in the beat.
Hopefully they don't all suck... lol. I'm usually pretty shy about sharing my musical taste with people, because it's weird AF... but you tell me what you think!

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers – I Need to Know

Ultimate driving song right here.

Stevie Nicks – I Can't Wait

Something about this badass 80's lady gets me PUMPED. This song has a great beat and makes me feel like I'm in some gritty weird 80's movie.

Kavinsky – Nightcall (Dustin N'Gyuen Remix)

Is it too cliché that this song is from the soundtrack of the movie Drive? This uptempo remix is baller. I could listen to it on repeat for like an hour.

Mikky Ekko – Who Are You Really?

When I think breakup driving, I think this song. It's got this many-layered sound and "I've just been betrayed" feeling that I can't get over. It feels dangerous.

Haim – My Song 5

That bass drum. This song is not at all typical Haim, but it's totally badass and freaky. "Honey, I'm not your honey pie." Damn right. Blast that sh*t.

Fauve – Cock Music Smart Music

Alright, here's where my weird French streak comes out. The chorus to this one is impossibly catchy. It's got a good beat, but I can't tell if I'd still love it as much without being able to understand what he's saying.

Brand New – The Shower Scene

A little punk rock for your troubles. The only punkish song I've ever truly loved. Just not my jam in general. But this song is sooo good.

Patti Smith – Because the Night

Give it a second to start rockin'. I get so HYPE on this dirty 70's and 80's rock. I was addicted to this song for like a two-week period this summer and listened to pretty much nothing else. So, so sexy.
Uggghhhh my taste in music is SO WEIRD. I'm sorry if I failed you @Arellano1052 and everyone else. >.< These are just some songs that get me pumped up when I'm driving. I'm not sure if they'll have the same effect on everybody else. Let me know what you think lol.
@EddiePozo Haha They ARE a bit out of the mainstream! Except for Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks! Possibly Patti Smith, even though she really isn't one of the first 10 or so artists that come to mind for the 70's! I believe she released an album a few years ago, like, 2008'ish, as well, where she covered songs by Jimi Hendrix and The Beatles and Nirvana! I actually liked her rendition of Smells Like Teen Spirit more haha
I really don't dabble in that type of music, normally haha but sometimes, Secondhand Serenade or Taylor Swift can't do it ;D Even though Tear Drops On My Guitar is pretty intense 😂
@allischaaff But music doesn't make me speed :/ I do jam though @Arellano1052 lol I'll just y'all have a wierd taste
Lol @EddiePozo @Arellano1052 I tried sooo hard, boys 😅😁😁 I'm not that great at music recs I guess. Lol. Shut up, Arellano, everyone needs some TSwifty in their life sometimes!! Hahaha 😂😂😂 I'm glad you at least enjoyed bae, Tom Petty. He's my musician crush number one. Besides Jesse Lacey of Brand New hehe. @EddiePozo you best be sharing yours now, or I'm going to feel seriously deprived of an opportunity to make fun of you back!! Lol 😁
I've never even heard of these songs@Arellano1052
