So Ouran may not have been the first anime that I ever watched but it was definitely the start of my addiction.
First off... Haruhi was like me... I mean I didn't go to some prestigious high school with a host club (Even though I totally wish I had) but we were pretty similar.
Next was the perfect imperfect guy along with the others that made up the Host club. You can basically guess my reaction... (swoon)
I mean the options.... from the adorable Honey to the mischievous Hitachiin brothers who had their own secret personalities. What was a girl to do...
I was so pleased with this anime I went on a quest to discover others like it only to find there were many genres that I simply couldn't get enough of. I still re-watch Ouran at least once a year.
So which anime pulled you into the anime world? *Also this is my first card, let me know what you think!
toonami started it for me watching shows like Dbz Inuyasha and Yu Yu Hakusho
@MaighdlinS yeah that's true. I always saw anime on the tv Toonami and that's where I saw Code Geass, Bleach, Eureka 7, etc., so tv I love you cx but Ouran High School Host Club...loved it :D You chose a wonderful anime to watch ^^ I had to read manga from the libraries or when my sister would bring some to the house (I'm the youngest in my family so you can never find those books in elementary school) cx I do understand your struggle T.T but I'm glad you came to the right path of anime/manga (ノ^o^)ノ
@RaquelArredondo no one in my family had any interest in animation. I watched Dragon Ball and loved it but had no way of knowing how to access other anime at the age I was :( I watched Ouran when I was in high school on Netflix.
Mine would have to be Sailor Moon, Pokemon, Dragon Ball, Naruto, and etc. Hahah the ones who watched it before me (my family) so I was born into such life :'D
Well, I'm old and so I started way back in the 90s. Lol, jk, not that old. But, my first that sucked me in was Sailor Moon! Good old classic. I've read all the books, watched all the movies and seasons (twice over), yup!
