Healthy fall snacks don't get any better than this: crispy, crunchy, snackable baked apples with a touch of cinnamon and sugar. That Oven Feelin' has an awesome recipe that I've adapted here so you can make your own! It's sooo easy. I've broken it down into super simple steps that anyone can follow. And bonus, you have everything you need to make them at home already – no dehydrator necessary!
Make your own gloriously delicious apple chips!
1. Preheat the oven to 225°F.
2. Slice 2 Gala apples thinly with a mandolin or spiralizer – about 1/8" thick. Remove seeds.
3. Arrange the slices on two baking racks and sprinkle with a light coating of cinnamon and sugar.
4. Bake for 2 hours. At the two hour mark, turn the oven off, and let the chips cool completely in the oven (this step is vital, because it's when they get all crispy!)
+ You can also use a parchment lined baking sheet if you don't have baking racks, but be sure to flip the apples at the one hour mark!
+ Store them in an airtight container for up to a week. :)
Yaaaayyy I can't wait to make these!! They're great when you want something low-cal and sweet. Snack on these until the holidays roll to save some room for Christmas cookies ;)
