Love is a powerful thing.
During an interview with Vanity Fair, the superstar artist opened up about her relationship with Chris Brown and domestic violence.
After reading the piece, Rih seems like she is ready to move on from the subject of her fight with Brown.
“Well, I just never understood that,” she said of being the poster child. “Llike how the victim gets punished over and over. It’s in the past, and I don’t want to say ‘Get over it,’ because it’s a very serious thing that is still relevant; it’s still real. A lot of women, a lot of young girls, are still going through it. A lot of young boys too. It’s not a subject to sweep under the rug, so I can’t just dismiss it like it wasn’t anything, or I don’t take it seriously. But, for me, and anyone who’s been a victim of domestic abuse, nobody wants to even remember it. Nobody even wants to admit it. So to talk about it and say it once, much less 200 times, is like … I have to be punished for it? It didn’t sit well with me.”
She later rekindled with Brown, but realized it was time to move on, even if she still has love for him.
"Sometimes you just have to walk away.” Now, she says, “I don’t hate him. I will care about him until the day I die. We’re not friends, but it’s not like we’re enemies. We don’t have much of a relationship now.”
Looks like Rihanna has some closure in this one.
She acknowledges what happened in the past and is moving forward in her life. Score one for Ri Ri during this interview.

You can't really help you heart you know? Moving forward is the best thing she can do and I think it's awesome that she's at peace. Maybe people should take a page out of her book and forgive. That' doesn't necessarily mean you can forget, but it's a step in the right direction.
