Are the Utah Jazz developing into our era Detroit Pistons?
Trevor Booker made a case for it last night, as he back slapped Roy Hibbert on national television.
Crazy part is Hibbert wasn't even involved in the initial scuffle.
Booker gives a good 6 or 7 inches to Hibbert, but you can't tell with the way he attacked Roy on this play.
The issue starts away from Hibbert, as Trevor gets caught up in a skirmish with a player in the high post. When Booker throws an elbow at one of the Lakers players, Hibbert comes over to his defense.
Many would have been scared of Hibbert (can't blame him, the guy is 7'0 260 easy) but Booker shows no fear or respect for Roy as he slapped him after he got in his face.
You can even see Utah teammates laughing as they pull Booker away. Sadly, no Laker players came to the defense of Roy who actually got slapped for having someone else back.
I'm sure a fine is coming for this one.
