Thursday Night Football is back!
Tonight we have a monster matchup, as AFC division rivals square off in the Houston Texans and Indy Colts.
On the fence and worried you will make the wrong pick? Have no fear! I'm going to shoot you some details about the game and help you make your choice!
The Texans were supposed to turn the corner this year, but have looked horrible on both sides of the ball this year.
Offensively, the loss of star running back Arian Foster played a huge factor in their ability to create balance. Ryan Mallet and Brian Hoyer have been average at best this year. Luckily for Houston Arian Foster is back tonight and in full health, but will that be enough?
Defense is the real problem for Houston, which is scary because that's suppose to be the strength of the team. They led the NFL in takeaways last year and in the 1st quarter of 2015 they are dead last in the NFL.
At 2-2, The Colts are off to a slow start but things could be way worse. Andrew Luck has gotten off to a slow start due to nagging injuries and lack of protection. Key off season additions in Frank Gore and Andrew Johnson have looked like a bust thus far. If the Colts want to turn emerge as the Superbowl contender people suggested they were they have to increase their scoring.
So who will win tonight? I'm going with the Colts in a high scoring affair. I think Arian Foster will play well for Houston, but if Andrew Luck plays the Colts will look to attack with the pass all game. I think we will see a battle of wills, but the Colts will walk out on top.
